Class 22 will include speeches by students and potentially a participation point opportunity if there is time. Students must complete a self-assessment essay justifying the grade they believe they deserve for their blog post responses. The essay should consider the number of posts made, quality of responses, and timeliness of submissions. It must follow a standard essay format with an introduction, thesis, body paragraphs, potential counterargument, and conclusion. The self-assessment essay and the final draft of Essay #4 are due at the final class meeting. Students should prepare for their speech, finish Essay #4, and write their argument for the blogging grade they want which will be submitted in writing at the final class.

The blogging post points (150) require self-assessment. Consider three
aspects of your responses: First, how many of the posts did you make?
Second, what was the quality of your response? Third, how timely were
your submissions? Write a short essay justifying your grade. This is an
essay like any other, so make sure you have an intro, a thesis, body
paragraphs, a counterargument if appropriate, and a conclusion.
