soon decreased .

hardest part when trying to support a struggling family. Food
Pantries makes it easy to locate different resources across the
country . At the same time they are ensuring the people have
enough food .

Good afternoon Sirs and my fellow boys brigade friends I am going to talk about the main topic poverty . What is poverty ? It is the idea of having no money or financial income. According to statistic on the internet close to 1 in 5 children are suffering from poverty. Most cases of poverty are found in rural areas and also in corrupted countries and maybe in war areas too. Many children who are suffering from poverty is so skinny that even their ribcage can be seen so clearly just like the picture on this slide.

IT is a multifaceted concept which includes social economic and political element .there are two types of poverty one of them is absolute poverty which means one who lacks of daily necessity to meet basic needs such as food , clothing , shelter, while relative poverty takes into consideration individual social and economic status compared to the rest of the society but to put it into simpler terms it mean that one has a house but earns quite little .
This slide shows the statistic of the poorest country like India, Liberia , Guinea , Haiti and Bangladesh .many countries suffering from poverty may live with only $1.25 or less per day. The picture on the top shows the kid suffering from malnutrition , shows how much help they need from all of us .
Why poverty you may ask it is because there are several causes the first one is because of the war happen in the country causing chaos thus needing more money to rebuild their houses . Also due to overpopulation in one family so they need more money to provide food for they children but the parents only earn a small sum of money per month which is not enough to support the whole family. Education is very important for someone to get a good job in life , due to a few number of school some cannot go to school due to lack of school slots ,education plays a very important role in life allowing them to escape from poverty because once they get good grade they can go else where to work and earn so much more money then what they have now . Having unclean water also affect their health causing many life threatening diseases .Epidemic diseases also can cause poverty because they need to spend more money to treat the diseases while corruption of government also plays a part because the know about poverty but they choose to keep the money and not help those suffering from poverty.
There are many organization but I chose to pick only 2 of them one is the ‘Borgen’ project which helps by sending food products and daily necessities another one is ‘ Food pantries ‘ also helping by sending food and many other things as you can see in the statistic you can the increasing number of people helped by the food pantries .
Ways to reduce the number of poverty rate is to have more schools because with more school they gain knowledge so they can go to other country to work to earn much more money they can earn now also with clean they do not contract diseases so easily also if you are thinking how to help them because we far away from them we can donate into websites with license and also maybe send some clothes or daily necessities to the Salvation army.
In conclusion , what we are trying to share to every one today is to tell everyone what is poverty how to solve it and why we should be grateful for what we have and not complain about our life .
