 Women are at the heart of our community-based efforts to
improve basic education, prevent the spread of disease,
increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand
economic opportunity and protect natural resources.
 We also deliver emergency aid to survivors of war and
natural disasters, and help people rebuild their lives.
 In the fiscal year 2014, CARE worked in 90 countries
around the world, supporting 880 poverty-fighting

than 72 million people.
 The impact we achieved was made possible through the
generous efforts of hundreds of thousands of private and
institutional donors, partners, corporations and private
foundations.
