In 2014, Care worked in 90 countries around the
world, supporting 880 poverty-fighting
development and humanitarian aid projects, to
reach more than 72 million people.

because, equipped with the proper resources, women
have the power to help whole families and entire
communities escape poverty.
Women are at the heart of our community-based efforts to
improve basic education, prevent the spread of disease,
increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand
economic opportunity and protect natural resources.
We also deliver emergency aid to survivors of war and
natural disasters, and help people rebuild their lives.
In the fiscal year 2014, CARE worked in 90 countries
around the world, supporting 880 poverty-fighting

The impact we achieved was made possible through the

Drama for Development
Nijera Modu/Sweet Bee, a brand of Living Blue-
CARE Bangladesh's social enterprise, is one of
the largest, self-owned honey producing
organization in Bangladesh
Forum Theatre serves as a platform for
communities to vocalize their problems and
communicate with each other to resolve issues
together. Forum theatre is widely used by CARE
Bangladesh initiatives as an advocacy tool for
