This document discusses the concept of first, second, and third world countries and how globalization has impacted third world countries. It proposes that first world companies doing business in third world countries should practice corporate social responsibility (CSR) toward the local people. The 1.t(w)o.3 project aims to help traditional craftspeople in third world countries become entrepreneurs by providing microfinancing, business coaching, and competitions to create jobs and economic opportunities for local communities while also benefiting foreign companies.
