The circular economy aims to eliminate waste and the continual use of resources by designing out waste, keeping products and materials in use, and regenerating natural systems. It involves keeping resources in use for as long as possible through reuse, repair, refurbishment and recycling, and recovering materials at the end of each service life. The goal is that nothing becomes waste.
