Cinepoem
“Hope is the thing”
Hope is the thing with feathers
This is a close-up
shot of a feather
and shows detail
to the feather
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,
This is a close-up
high angle shot of the
dove perched on a
branch
And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
This photo is
somewhat of a
medium close-up
shot of the tree
and a long shot of
the rest of the
trees behind it and
the sky hovering
over it.
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.
This is a medium
shot of the bird
and a long shot of
the waves
I’ve heard it in the chillest land,
This could be a
long shot and
somewhat of a
medium shot
mainly because
it shows the rest
of the sky and a
medium shot of
the post.
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.
This is a long shot of
the sea showing the
sunset and the
cloudy sky covering
over it and making it
look all gloomy.

Reflection
 I chose this poem mainly because it was short
and simple. This poem is sad and shows how
an innocent little bird gives warmth and hope
to people and it is brought down by a big
storm. The people have hope in the bird. I feel
like the bird symbolizes life and how fragile it
can be.
