The document describes a demo of a unified wired and wireless network setup that can be reserved on the Cloud Infrastructure and Demonstrations (CID) platform. The demo setup includes multiple Aruba switches and access points managed by a virtual SmartZone controller. Users can connect to devices and view network statistics, alarms, events and troubleshoot clients using the SmartZone interface. The SmartZone also allows for group-level and switch-level configuration of devices like DHCP servers, VLANs, ACLs and more.

Steps to reserve a demo setup on CID
After login, in the “LAB MANAGEMENT” tab,
select “FIXED AND DEMO ENVIRONMENTS”
Choose one of the available demo setups in
“Unified demo 1” or “Unified demo 2”
and click on RESERVE. In the new pop
window change the duration and name
using the edit button
Once the reservation is complete, verify if
the demo is active
