This document outlines a lesson plan for teaching CPR skills over the course of a week. On Monday, the teacher will introduce CPR using a YouTube video, PowerPoint, poster, and American Red Cross website. Tuesday and Wednesday will focus on how to perform CPR on adults and children using videos, websites, and social media. Thursday will cover how to use an AED through digital media and blogs. On Friday, students will demonstrate what they learned by creating a video that either shows their CPR skills or is a humorous parody video, which must also include an explanation of what was done incorrectly. Students must incorporate elements from a previous arts and bots unit into their videos.
