disadvantages. Among the 3D printing systems of
our partners, there is a suitable solution for almost
every application. From high-precision small parts
to large-volume components. With our 3D scan-
ners, you can also capture and digitise objects
with a wide variety of textures and shapes. From
simple construction aids to high-precision scans
in quality control- we have the right device for

In order to support you in your successful entry
into the world of 3D technologies and to simplify
the economic implementation of the processes,
we offer you workshops as well as individual trai-
ning courses. We are always happy to pass on our

You don‘t have your own 3D printer or don‘t have
the right 3D printing process? In a few simple
steps you can commission your models on our
printing platform. Choose from over 60 different
materials, including metal. Our Print Factory has al-
most all printing processes and technologies at its
disposal, so that we can carry out your order cost-
effectively, quickly and in line with your needs.

6. 3D SALES
The broad portfolio of CHROMOS 3D Solutions
consists of renowned suppliers and contemporary
technologies. These are rigorously and iteratively
tested for their suitability so that customers can
always choose from the best products available on
the market. We are happy to help you evaluate a
suitable technology or brand.
3D Printer
Not all 3D printers are the same- there are many
different technologies, which are better or less
suitable for different applications. Our portfolio
includes the most widely used technologies.
For example, SLA (stereolithography). This techno-
logy is particularly suitable for high-precision parts
that require a good surface. Another common
technology is SLS (Selective Laser Sintering),
where plastic powders are selectively fused with
a laser. The advantages of this technology are the
high precision, the design freedom of the objects
and the good material properties. The most wide-
spread technology is FDM (Fused Deposit Model-
ling). Here, filaments are melted by an extruder
and a model is built up layer by layer.
The range of applications for 3D printers is almost
unlimited and the technology is suitable for every
industrial sector.

7. 3D Scanner
3D scanners are used to digitise objects. This
offers advantages in a wide range of application
areas. Be it in the area of reverse engineering,
where designs are refined or re-modelled on the
basis of an existing object, or the digital archi-
ving of objects. The use of the 3D scanner as a
design aid is also widespread. For example, of
customised vehicle interiors. Using a 3D scanner,
the interior dimensions can be recorded and the
interior can be designed to fit precisely. Due to
the high precision of some models, 3D scanners
are also used in quality control. In addition to the
advantage that a 3D model of each component is
created, this also offers the possibility of recording
almost all measured variables such as surface,
roundness, tolerances, etc. in a single measuring
run and in a cost-efficient manner. However, the
areas of application go far beyond the examples
mentioned.
Material
We also offer the right material for every 3D printer
and advise customers on the appropriate choice of
material. It is also possible to purchase specially
tested and approved materials from third-party
suppliers.

3D PRINT FACTORY
3D Printing
Our 3D printing platform offers the possibility to
commission objects easily and intuitively in 12
different 3D printing processes. You can choose
between over 60 materials. Among others also
different metals. Simply upload the desired mo-
del, select material and process and automatically
receive a quote and delivery time calculation.
On request, we can contribute our know-how
within the framework of individual consulta-
tion with regard to the selection of materials
and processes.
3D Scanning
We have the latest 3D scanners and experienced
3D design engineers. This means that objects can
be captured on order and digitally reworked as
desired. If required, we cover the entire process
chain from capturing the objects, to modelling, to
the finished object from the 3D printer. There is
also the possibility to rent 3D scanners.
