John 3:1-5. A New Life In Christ. In the new life we have been born again. In the new life we are a new creation. In the new life we crucify the flesh with its passions and desires. In the new life we are transformed by the renewing of our minds. In the new life we are renewed by the Holy Spirit. In the new life we are dead to sin but alive to God. In the new life we are washed from our sins. in the new life we put to death the old man and put on the new man. In the new life we died and our life is hidden with Christ in God. In the new life we were brought back from death in sin.

Who is really supposed to be in control of our lives? Ameerah Lewis of http://www.hem-of-his-garment-bible-study.org explains how our self-growth and self-sufficient world can create barriers between Believers seeking true intimacy with God and a Heavenly Father that longs for intimacy with us.
Overcoming Strongholds is another struggle Christians go through as they are entangled to the pleasures of the world. Satan brings lies about themselves, about others and about God. Believeing these lies create a stronghold and reinforcing the lie leads them away from God. Real freedom includes overcoming the strongholds in our spiritual life. Be Blessed!
You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. - James 4:1-3

Are bloggers thought leaders? Here are some tips on how you can become one. Provide great value, put awesome content out there on a regular basis, and help others.
“‘Be thankful’ (Colossians 3:15) is a recurring exhortation in the letters of the apostle Paul. No other New Testament writer gives such a sustained emphasis on thanksgiving―and yet, major modern studies of Paul fail to wrestle with it. Dr. Paul Allieu Kamara aims to rehabilitate this theme in this comprehensive and accessible study, a New Studies in Biblical Theology volume. He shows how, for Paul, thanksgiving is grounded in the covenantal traditions of salvation history. To offer thanks to God is to live a life of worship and to anticipate the future acts of God, all in submission to the lordship of Christ. Ingratitude to God is idolatry. Thanksgiving functions as a link between theology, including eschatology, and ethics. Here Dr. Paul Allieu Kamara provides clear insights into the passion of an apostle who never fails to insist on the significance of both the gospel message and the response this message demands. Addressing key issues in biblical theology, the works comprising New Studies in Biblical Theology are creative attempts to help Christians better understanding their Bibles. The NSBT series is edited by D. A. Carson, aiming to simultaneously instruct and to edify, to interact with current scholarship and to point the way ahead.”

THE ART OF EFFECTIVE CHURCH USHERING TRAINING MANUALAmb Steve Mbugua
This manual will help you build a great ushering, security, protocol, sanctuary keepers, hospitality and catering team.
Your ushers can make or break your worship service.
The difference between a grumpy, distracted, and untrained usher compared to a cheerful, engaged, and “serve you with a smile” usher is huge and the conversion from weak to a strong team will be made easier using this manual.
I’ve always loved the ushering team; it has always been one of my favorite ministries to lead.
The usher’s role is so important but often undervalued, under trained, and less than organized.
Your ushers are a tremendous force in setting the tone for worship and helping to prepare the people to hear and respond to the Word of God.
This manual will equip your team to serve with the right attitude, passion, love, wisdom, understanding, skills, revelation and spirit of excellence.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
3. LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENTS FROM THE BIBLE At New Life Baptist Church, we believe that serving in local church ministry carries with it responsibility . When we serve, we provide role models for others to follow as we represent the Lord Jesus Christ. We want to be pure vessels , fit for the Master’s use!
4. LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENTS FROM THE BIBLE In a world that emphasizes freedom , we look to God’s Word in order to form Bible-based principles for living. We, as Christian workers, are challenged to test our attitudes, actions, appearance, and associations by the following verses:
5. EXAMPLES OF LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENTS Why have leadership requirements? From time to time Christians from various backgrounds wonder why a church would emphasize consistency and orderliness in ministry, as it relates to dress or matters of lifestyle.
6. EXAMPLES OF LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENTS Why have leadership requirements? These people forget that there are places throughout our culture which understand that our appearance reflects an attitude and can affect our behavior .
7. EXAMPLES OF LEADERSHIP REQUIREMENTS Why have leadership requirements? The following illustrations from secular society show that a church with similar requirements is not harsh or legalistic. In fact, the church, of all places, should be a witness of orderliness, cleanliness, and modesty.
