Bullying involves a person, often physically stronger, picking on and physically harming someone weaker to boost their own self-esteem. If someone is being bullied, they should tell others for help. In the book Twisted, the character Chip bullies others to assert his perceived dominance in school. Bullying most often occurs outside of school where it is easier to avoid consequences, and it also frequently happens online where bullies can remain anonymous. Being bullied can negatively impact one's self-esteem, but witnesses should help those being bullied as it is an unfair and harmful act.

2. What is bullying? Bullying is when someone, usually a jock, picks on and beats up on someone smaller than them to give them a “power-rush” and raise their self-esteem while lowering the victims self-esteem.

3. If you are ever bullied or have witnessed anyone being bullied, you should tell someone right away. If you think you are going to get bullied, try to avoid anyone who you think may have been a part of any bullying, because they may be planning on bullying again.

4. Relation to Twisted In Twisted , Chip bullies others because he feels that he should “rule” the school and choose who his sister goes out with. He also thinks that he is the strongest person in the school but he is not.
