 Manners are a MUST.
 Say “please” and “thank you.”
 Never insult a gift or the person giving it.
 Only take your fair share of food.
 Show respect.
 Other’s comments, opinions, or ideas.
 Never show disrespect in any way.
 Cover your mouth properly then excuse yourself.
 Do not talk or leave your seat without
permission.

 When speaking with someone,
 Use their name.
 Make eye contact.
 Answer by using “Yes, Ma’am” and “No, Sir”
 Answer a question with a complete sentence
followed by a question.
Good Sports are Winners
 Congratulate the winner.
 If you win, do not brag.
 If you lose, do not show
anger or sarcasm.
 Show respect for school property and property of
others.
 Follow the rules of the school and home, and the
laws of the state and nation.
 Use language appropriate to a Christian.
 Maintain high standards of good sportsmanship.
Surprise Others with
Random Acts of Kindness
 You will never
know how many
people this act will
affect.
 Strive to be honest
with yourself and
others.
Homework will be Turned
in Everyday by Everyone
 Perform to the best of your ability.
 Honor your work and the work of others.
 Develop good study habits.
Use the Restroom
Properly
 Be sure to flush when you are finished.
 ALWAYS wash your hands with soap
and water.
 Use one paper towel and dispose of it
properly.
 Do not visit or linger in the restroom area.

 If someone drops something, pick it up and return it.
 Hold open a door for the next person.
 Say “Excuse me” if you bump into someone or they into
you.

 When you are on a field trip, thank everyone
involved.
 If someone is bothering you, let your teacher know.
Silence is Golden
 Enter all buildings silently.
 Walk down the hall in a single file line
without ANY talking.
 This is in our school building or any building
you enter on a field trip.
 Never cut in line.
Assemblies are Special
Events
 Do not try to get the attention of someone
in your class or another person.
 Your attention should be on the person
conducting the assembly.
 If asked a question, please stand and
answer in a loud enough voice for
everyone to hear.
 Do not shout.
Your Opinion is Valued
 Stand up for what you believe in.
 If you feel strongly about something, stick
to your opinion.
Always be Honest
 Accept that you are going to make
mistakes, and learn from them.
 Be the best person you can be everyday.
