The group used a three-step process to choose a song: 1) An initial group vote split between two songs, so they asked the class to decide; 2) The two members pitched their song choices to the class, explaining why their song allowed more creativity; 3) After the pitches, the class voted, choosing "I'll Wait For You" over "Be Someone".

2. There were 3 main processes we used to come to a
conclusion as to which song to choose.

3. 1) Initial group vote
• There was a split decision between my song
(I’ll wait for you) and Kamrul’s song (Be
Someone). We couldn’t vote amongst
ourselves so we decided to ask the class which
was the better choice.

4. Pitching our ideas to the class
• We both had to pitch our ideas to the class giving
them reasons as to why my one was the better
song. I showed them how because my song was
slow and abstract, we could be artistic and
creative with it. I took the fact that the song
doesn’t have a definitive narrative and turned it
into a positive factor.

5. Results!
• After the pitch, we asked the student to
choose what song they liked.
