OBJECTIVE
I wish to obtain a position in the capacity of a lead teacher in a preschool, before or after child care
setting. I am a teacher whom is creative,dynamic, passionate, innovative, and possess a strong teaching
spirit.
SUMMARY
I desire to utilize my coursework, hands on training, and previous work or volunteer experience to
provide a safe,happy, and quality environment which is responsive to the needs of the children as well as
the parents. I am a dedicated, reliable, highly professional, experienced, caring individual who will have a
positive impact on the lives of the staff, young children, and their families; while effectively and

School Age Lead Teacher August 2013 – Present
Under direct supervision of director, in an after school care setting I am required to care and teach
children ages four to ten years old, with the majority of students between five and eight years old.
Required to plan and implement age appropriate activities depending on my interest and talents such as;
sports, games, fitness, and nutrition. Responsible for assisting students with homework time, bathroom
breaks, outdoor activities, and preparation of snack. Responsible for supervision for all children.

Under direct supervision of director and head teachers,required to use daily classroom events as
opportunities to assist children in developing appropriate behavior, social skills, and coping skills. Assist

environment. Model acceptable behaviors and utilize behavior management techniques in classroom.
