Thank you for submitting your application materials to join Chi Sigma Alpha. We were impressed with
the quality of applications submitted and are excited to see so many new professionals dedicated to
serving the student affairs profession. After reviewing all completed applications, our selection team
has made recommendations regarding membership for the Iota chapter of Chi Sigma Alpha.
I am pleased to inform you that you have been selected to be a member of Chi Sigma Alpha at
Arkansas Tech University. We are looking forward to having you join this prestigious honor society and
help us promote the main pillars of the organization: academic success in your graduate studies,
engagement in student affairs scholarly activities, and to embrace an attitude of service.
In order to complete your membership into the organization, you will need to pay a one –time, non-
refundable, membership/initiation fee of $30 by Friday, October 3, 2014. You may pay your fee in in the
CSP Office or send your payment to the following address:

New members and their guest are invited to attend an induction ceremony where they will be
presented with their membership pin and certificate on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 2PM (CST) in
Crabaugh Hall, Room 115. The ceremony will have a “live” link for those students unable to attend.
More details regarding how to access this link will be sent to members in the near future. Membership
pin and certificates will be mailed to our distance students not able to attend the actual ceremony.
Following the short induction ceremony, members and their guests will be treated to light refreshments.
