In response to your application and answers to our online interview/CV screening, we
are pleased to employ you to work in our organization. You have agreed to render the
services on the following terms and conditions as below. In terms of this Agreement It
is agreed by and between parties as below which have met our approval and
considerations for an appointment in joining CHEVRON DUBAI (UAE).
NOW THEREFORE THE PARTIES agree as follows:
1. REMUNERATION
In consideration of the Employee undertaking the Employment by the company,
the Company shall pay the Employee as follows:

STATUS: BOTH SINGLE & FAMILY
BASIC SALARY: DH 25,950 (TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND NINE
HUNDRED AND FIFTY DIRHAMS)
MONTHLY
RESUMPTION DATE: 30TH AUGUST 2016
HOUSING ALLOWANCES: DH 7,150(SEVEN THOUSAND, ONE
HUNDRED AND FIFTY DIRHAMS)

ENTERTAINMENT ALLOWANCE: DH 3,950 (THREE THOUSAND NINE
HUNDRED AND FIFTY DIRHAMS)
MONTHLY
CAR MAINTENANCE: DH 7,400(SEVEN THOUSAND FOUR
HUNDRED DIRHAMS) MONTHLY
LEAVE ALLOWANCE: DH 10,800 (TEN THOUSAND EIGHT
HUNDRED DIRHAMS) MONTHLY
PERIOD OF CONTRACT: 2 YEARS RENEWABLE CONTRACT
RELOCATION ALLOWANCE: DH 18,200 (EIGHTEEN THOUSAND TWO
HUNDRED DIRHAMS) ONCE
DUTY HOURS: 8 HRS DAILY
WORKING DAYS: SUNDAY TO THURSDAY
2. OBLIGATIONS
Shall render expert Services with due skill and proper care, maintaining the highest
professional standard at all times will perform such Prescribed Duties and Services at
the company’s premises or other locations as agreed to between himself and the
company shall render his service during the official Work hours acceptable to the
Company in line with accepted working practices, which is Presently 8 hours of
working Sunday through Thursday and with observance of prescribed holidays.
Agrees not to copy or transfer any data or information with out permission from the
company.
Agrees to maintain complete Confidentiality and secrecy and agrees not to disclose to
any outside persons/ parties any of the information that he may have access to during
this contract.
3. CONFIDENTIALITY
The Candidate shall not during the operation of this Agreement or thereafter use for
his own benefit or for the benefit of any other person or divulge or communicate to
any person except to those officials of the Company province it, the secrets of the
Company or the client or any other information which he may receive or obtain in
relation to the Company’s or the Client’s affairs or those of its customers or of the
data bases, internet access .or any tools or techniques which is carried on or used by
the Company or the client. The consultant shall further co-operate with the Company,
its client and any other persons the Company or the client may designate to obtain
such security clearance as required.
4. RENEWAL/TERMINATION

It is agreed that Company can terminate or renew this contract at the end of 2 years on
mutually agreed terms. It is also agreed that either party can terminate this contract
with 1 month notice on either side.
5. OTHER INTERESTS
You must devote your full time, attention and abilities to your job duties during
working hours, and to act in the best interests of the Company at all times. You must
not, without Company’s written consent, be in any way directly or indirectly engaged
or concerned in any other business where this is or is likely to be in conflict with the
Company’s interests (or those of its clients) or where this may adversely affect the
efficient discharge of your duties.
6. TERM
This Employment Contract shall be for a period of 2 years and it is renewable
7. PLACE OF WORK
You will be employed in Dubai, and the Company may at any time require you to
work at any other location of the Company or of any client to which the Company is
providing services according to the business needs.
8. REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES FOR PERMIT TO ENTER UAE
A Work permit or employment permit reimbursement policy is developed to help
employees understand and follow the company’s travel reimbursement process. Your
expenses incurred in order obtain legal UAE papers to start work with us will fully be
reimbursed back to you upon your arrival. This reimbursement is based on actual
expenses and requires receipt.
9. BENEFITS
1. Transportation from and to work from Home.
2. Transportation to customer place will be provided by Company. After few months
application to U.A.E Driving License and Company Car will be provided.
3. A free accommodation will be provided for you and your family.
4. Acceptance to issue Family Visa will be granted. Family visa expenses and other
expenses on Family will be taken care by Company.
5. Life/Medical Insurance
6. Bonus and Increment of salary will be given according to the work profile.
10. TELECOMMUNICATION/ INTERNET FACILITIES
There are standard Telecommunication Facilities and Internet services at the disposal
of all expatriates, and same shall be accessible to all Personnel (Local/Foreign)
without any charge or expenses to be incurred. Cellular Phones can be obtained by
Expatriates from the Local dealers/Service Providers in Work Metropolis but must be
used in accordance with the safety regulations on Job Locations.

11. ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Recreational/Sports Facilities shall also be made available at the disposal of all
expatriates with no expenses to be incurred. Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service will
also be made available to all Expatriates by the company's laundry and dry cleaning
unit.
12. FLIGHTS/ HEALTH CARD/ GRATUITY
The Company shall provide a one-way air ticket to the Employee at the termination of
this Employment Contract to repatriate the Employee to his place of origin.
The Company shall provide at least once a year during the term of Employment a
return air ticket to the Employee to his place of origin.
The Company will provide you with a health card for visa purposes. You will be
entitled to a gratuity in accordance with applicable UAE labour laws from time to
time. For the avoidance of doubt, in calculating any gratuity, any allowance will be
disregarded.
13. WORKING HOURS
Your normal working hours are 8 hours. Sunday to Thursday, together with such
additional hours as the Company may request or as may be necessary for the proper
performance of your duties. The Company may vary the normal start or finish times
according to business needs. Overtime payments are made.
14. HOLIDAYS
The Employee is entitled to paid annual vacation of thirty (30) calendar days. The
annual vacation period shall be calculated pro rata for any period of less than a year
provided the Employee has completed at least one year of service.
Holidays can only be taken at times agreed in advance with the Company. Any
entitlement to holiday remaining at the end of any holiday year will lapse, unless
specifically approved in writing by the Department head.
15. SICKNESS
You will be eligible to Sick Leave as per the UAE Labour laws. Provided sickness
certificates to be submitted to the company
16. TERMINATION

A limited Contract shall be terminated on the provision by either of the Company or
the Employee of thirty (30) day’s notice in writing to the other. The Company may
make a payment of your basic salary in lieu of the above notice entitlement.
On termination of your employment you must immediately return to the Company, in
accordance with any instructions which may be given to you, all items of property
belonging to the Company or to its clients in your possession or under your control.
You must, if so required by the Company, confirm in writing that you have complied
with your obligations under this provision.
17. RENEWAL
A limited Contract will be renewed automatically should the Employee continue the
Employment after the expiry date set out above where the Company does not
otherwise object and unless either the Company or the Employee has given written
notification to the other at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiry date declining to
Renew the Employment.
18. SAFETY & SECURITY
Safety and Security of personnel (Local/Foreign) and Facilities on Off-shore/On-
shore and communities have been seriously considered to ensure and assure hitch free
operations. All operations on Job Location are designed to adhere strictly to the
Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy as applicable in the Company. All
expatriates are entitled to a free and mandatory safety courses on Job Locations to be
delivered by qualified safety and environment experts. But must be used in
accordance with the safety regulations in the company.
19. AGREEMENT FOR UPFRONT PAYMENT OF SALARY
Three (3) Months’ salary shall be paid in advance before Candidates embark on
journey to assume duty. This is to enable candidates settle all domestic needs before
travel. As such no excuses will be entertained on assumption of duty relating to
default.
Employees (Expatriates) are to note that Three (3) Months’ salary are paid as soon as
Employee have furnish us with the signed acceptance copy of the contract package, a
scan copy of his/her International Passport and 2 Passport Photograph for the
immediate processing, procurement and acquisition of your necessary permits
clearance papers as this is in line with the U.A.E Expatriate Financial Statutory Laws.
20. OTHER DOCUMENTS RELEVANT TO YOUR EMPLOYMENT
The documents may be modified or replaced from time to time, you will be provided
with particulars of any modification or a copy of any replacement. Your signature
below will constitute your agreement to the terms set out above.

21. RESIDENCE/WORK PERMIT VISA DOCUMENTS PROCESSING
Any employee successfully screened and recruited to resume employment at
CHEVRON DUBAI- U.A.E. (And not presently possessing a valid U.A.E Residence
and Work Permits Clearance Papers) Shall be expected to Scan and send to us and to
the Al Furat Travel & Tourism via E-mail a copy of his/her International Passport and
a Passport Photograph for the immediate processing, procurement and acquisition of
their necessary permits clearance papers with the MINISTRY OF INTERIOR and
shall be duly notified once their valid U.A.E Residence and Work Permits Clearance
Papers are completed.
Any candidate that accepts this offer will have to contact the Al Furat Travel &
Tourism and shoulder all the expense for the processing, procurement and acquisition
of their necessary permits clearance papers with the MINISTRY OF INTERIOR and
the company will be reimbursing back the expense. Note that all UAE based
employees' are to report personally to our office with identification materials for
signing and collection of hard copy of their contract documents.
NB: Any employee, who does not have International Passport, should notify us earlier
to enable us arrange for an Emergency Travelling Certificate for him/her.

22. CONTRACT UNDERSTANDING
In witness whereof, the parties declare that they have read and fully aware of all the
terms and conditions of this contract and that they signed below in full bona-fide,
hereby entered into contractual commitment and provision of this contract agreement
based on the conduct of the parties herein through the period of the agreement, both
parties may decide to extend the agreement in the future, where term of
responsibilities and relationship will be better defined and expatriated.

OBLIGATIONS Shall render expert Services with due skill and proper care, maintaining the highest professional standard at all times will perform such Prescribed Duties and Services at the company’s premises or other locations as agreed to between himself and the company shall render his service during the official Work hours acceptable to the Company in line with accepted working practices, which is Presently 8 hours of working Sunday through Thursday and with observance of prescribed holidays. Agrees not to copy or transfer any data or information with out permission from the company. Agrees to maintain complete Confidentiality and secrecy and agrees not to disclose to any outside persons/ parties any of the information that he may have access to during this contract. 3. CONFIDENTIALITY The Candidate shall not during the operation of this Agreement or thereafter use for his own benefit or for the benefit of any other person or divulge or communicate to any person except to those officials of the Company province it, the secrets of the Company or the client or any other information which he may receive or obtain in relation to the Company’s or the Client’s affairs or those of its customers or of the data bases, internet access .or any tools or techniques which is carried on or used by the Company or the client. The consultant shall further co-operate with the Company, its client and any other persons the Company or the client may designate to obtain such security clearance as required. 4. RENEWAL/TERMINATION
  • 3. JOB REFERENCE No.: CHE/R78254/ UAE-DB00-16 It is agreed that Company can terminate or renew this contract at the end of 2 years on mutually agreed terms. It is also agreed that either party can terminate this contract with 1 month notice on either side. 5. OTHER INTERESTS You must devote your full time, attention and abilities to your job duties during working hours, and to act in the best interests of the Company at all times. You must not, without Company’s written consent, be in any way directly or indirectly engaged or concerned in any other business where this is or is likely to be in conflict with the Company’s interests (or those of its clients) or where this may adversely affect the efficient discharge of your duties. 6. TERM This Employment Contract shall be for a period of 2 years and it is renewable 7. PLACE OF WORK You will be employed in Dubai, and the Company may at any time require you to work at any other location of the Company or of any client to which the Company is providing services according to the business needs. 8. REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES FOR PERMIT TO ENTER UAE A Work permit or employment permit reimbursement policy is developed to help employees understand and follow the company’s travel reimbursement process. Your expenses incurred in order obtain legal UAE papers to start work with us will fully be reimbursed back to you upon your arrival. This reimbursement is based on actual expenses and requires receipt. 9. BENEFITS 1. Transportation from and to work from Home. 2. Transportation to customer place will be provided by Company. After few months application to U.A.E Driving License and Company Car will be provided. 3. A free accommodation will be provided for you and your family. 4. Acceptance to issue Family Visa will be granted. Family visa expenses and other expenses on Family will be taken care by Company. 5. Life/Medical Insurance 6. Bonus and Increment of salary will be given according to the work profile. 10. TELECOMMUNICATION/ INTERNET FACILITIES There are standard Telecommunication Facilities and Internet services at the disposal of all expatriates, and same shall be accessible to all Personnel (Local/Foreign) without any charge or expenses to be incurred. Cellular Phones can be obtained by Expatriates from the Local dealers/Service Providers in Work Metropolis but must be used in accordance with the safety regulations on Job Locations.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES Recreational/Sports Facilities shall also be made available at the disposal of all expatriates with no expenses to be incurred. Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service will also be made available to all Expatriates by the company's laundry and dry cleaning unit. 12. FLIGHTS/ HEALTH CARD/ GRATUITY The Company shall provide a one-way air ticket to the Employee at the termination of this Employment Contract to repatriate the Employee to his place of origin. The Company shall provide at least once a year during the term of Employment a return air ticket to the Employee to his place of origin. The Company will provide you with a health card for visa purposes. You will be entitled to a gratuity in accordance with applicable UAE labour laws from time to time. For the avoidance of doubt, in calculating any gratuity, any allowance will be disregarded. 13. WORKING HOURS Your normal working hours are 8 hours. Sunday to Thursday, together with such additional hours as the Company may request or as may be necessary for the proper performance of your duties. The Company may vary the normal start or finish times according to business needs. Overtime payments are made. 14. HOLIDAYS The Employee is entitled to paid annual vacation of thirty (30) calendar days. The annual vacation period shall be calculated pro rata for any period of less than a year provided the Employee has completed at least one year of service. Holidays can only be taken at times agreed in advance with the Company. Any entitlement to holiday remaining at the end of any holiday year will lapse, unless specifically approved in writing by the Department head. 15. SICKNESS You will be eligible to Sick Leave as per the UAE Labour laws. Provided sickness certificates to be submitted to the company 16. TERMINATION
  • 5. JOB REFERENCE No.: CHE/R78254/ UAE-DB00-16 A limited Contract shall be terminated on the provision by either of the Company or the Employee of thirty (30) day’s notice in writing to the other. The Company may make a payment of your basic salary in lieu of the above notice entitlement. On termination of your employment you must immediately return to the Company, in accordance with any instructions which may be given to you, all items of property belonging to the Company or to its clients in your possession or under your control. You must, if so required by the Company, confirm in writing that you have complied with your obligations under this provision. 17. RENEWAL A limited Contract will be renewed automatically should the Employee continue the Employment after the expiry date set out above where the Company does not otherwise object and unless either the Company or the Employee has given written notification to the other at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiry date declining to Renew the Employment. 18. SAFETY & SECURITY Safety and Security of personnel (Local/Foreign) and Facilities on Off-shore/On- shore and communities have been seriously considered to ensure and assure hitch free operations. All operations on Job Location are designed to adhere strictly to the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy as applicable in the Company. All expatriates are entitled to a free and mandatory safety courses on Job Locations to be delivered by qualified safety and environment experts. But must be used in accordance with the safety regulations in the company. 19. AGREEMENT FOR UPFRONT PAYMENT OF SALARY Three (3) Months’ salary shall be paid in advance before Candidates embark on journey to assume duty. This is to enable candidates settle all domestic needs before travel. As such no excuses will be entertained on assumption of duty relating to default. Employees (Expatriates) are to note that Three (3) Months’ salary are paid as soon as Employee have furnish us with the signed acceptance copy of the contract package, a scan copy of his/her International Passport and 2 Passport Photograph for the immediate processing, procurement and acquisition of your necessary permits clearance papers as this is in line with the U.A.E Expatriate Financial Statutory Laws. 20. OTHER DOCUMENTS RELEVANT TO YOUR EMPLOYMENT The documents may be modified or replaced from time to time, you will be provided with particulars of any modification or a copy of any replacement. Your signature below will constitute your agreement to the terms set out above.
  • 6. JOB REFERENCE No.: CHE/R78254/ UAE-DB00-16 21. RESIDENCE/WORK PERMIT VISA DOCUMENTS PROCESSING Any employee successfully screened and recruited to resume employment at CHEVRON DUBAI- U.A.E. (And not presently possessing a valid U.A.E Residence and Work Permits Clearance Papers) Shall be expected to Scan and send to us and to the Al Furat Travel & Tourism via E-mail a copy of his/her International Passport and a Passport Photograph for the immediate processing, procurement and acquisition of their necessary permits clearance papers with the MINISTRY OF INTERIOR and shall be duly notified once their valid U.A.E Residence and Work Permits Clearance Papers are completed. Any candidate that accepts this offer will have to contact the Al Furat Travel & Tourism and shoulder all the expense for the processing, procurement and acquisition of their necessary permits clearance papers with the MINISTRY OF INTERIOR and the company will be reimbursing back the expense. Note that all UAE based employees' are to report personally to our office with identification materials for signing and collection of hard copy of their contract documents. NB: Any employee, who does not have International Passport, should notify us earlier to enable us arrange for an Emergency Travelling Certificate for him/her. CONTRACT UNDERSTANDING In witness whereof, the parties declare that they have read and fully aware of all the terms and conditions of this contract and that they signed below in full bona-fide, hereby entered into contractual commitment and provision of this contract agreement based on the conduct of the parties herein through the period of the agreement, both parties may decide to extend the agreement in the future, where term of responsibilities and relationship will be better defined and expatriated.
