2. Problem:
• Childhood obesity rates are rising.
• Test scores are decreasing.
• Children are becoming more depressed.
Childhood obesity is linked to poor grades
& depression -www.TIME.com
Solution:
Chef Koochooloo is an international educational platform that teaches
kids Math, Science and Geography through cooking, via an innovative
mobile application and curriculum aligned to the Next Generation
Science Standards (NGSS) and Common Core Science Standards
(CCSS).
Chef Koochooloo’s integrated approach to learning through healthy
international cooking, educates the whole child and ensures students
are challenged academically and prepared for participation in a culturally
sensitive environment. The essence of a “21st century skill”, the
curriculum emphasizes the attitudes, knowledge, and skills needed to
live and work in today’s interconnected world.
As students discover the origins of ingredients and recipes, and are
introduced to tasty healthy treats, they become more empathetic and
engaged towards the people and cultures they are discovering.

1000 participants (parents) after 10 lessons.
Why do parents love us?
Happy, Smart, Students
We have already witnessed significant impact on:
•Attitudes: This includes openness, respect, and
appreciation for diversity; valuing of multiple
perspectives, including an awareness of the
cultural influences that shape their own and
others’ perspectives.
•Knowledge: Children’s ability to understand
global issues and current events; including the
blockchain of food and its effects on social
inequities locally and globally.
•Health: From warding off obesity to improved
grades, teaching healthy eating habits at a young
age can impact many facets of a child's life: a
child’s future, health and wellness.
•Improved Test Scores: Healthy diets improves
cognition, concentration, and energy levels,
positively impacting academic performance
among school-aged children

Risk # 1:
Increase of teachers’ workload
Advantage: By ensuring the curriculum is aligned clearly with
standards they are trying to adopt (NGSS, NCSS, Common
Core), we help teachers include this in their weekly plans.
Risk #2:
Teachers have no time to shop for ingredients
Advantage: Ensure we have a partnership with Amazon
Fresh, Google Express, or Instacart in place, and the app
allows
for delivery of fresh food.
Risk #3:
Education Market is hard to penetrate
Advantage: Already built relationships with influential
innovative schools that inspire other educators
