Charlotte Bronte was an English novelist born in 1816 who began writing about an imaginary world called Angria as a young girl in 1826. She published her most famous novel, Jane Eyre, in 1847 under a pen name, which brought her great acclaim. Bronte went on to publish more novels but sadly died in 1855 at the young age of 38.
