processing and distribution.

seminars and symposia in both conventional (oil, gas, coal, electric power) and

proceedings for publication.
• Research in energy issues for United Nations publications and
reports to inter-governmental bodies such as the Economic and Social Council

• Served as Director of Workshop on Petroleum Arrangements in
Papua New Guinea and undertook research on new oil and gas policies in
countries in economic transition.
1993-1995: Chief Energy & Resources Branch, Division of Sustainable Development,
Department of Policy Co-ordination & Sustainable Development:
• Responsible for UN programs in energy and new and renewable
sources of energy as well as the resources chapters of Agenda 21

March 2011 on world energy, especially natural gas trade
