 Faustus is a Protagonist of the play.
 He is at the center of the play.
 Faustus is brilliant scholar.
 He is hungry and eager to know everything.
 He wants to becomes like God.
 His first reason hungry and eager for
knowledge is right.but his second reason
wants to becomes like God is wrong.
 His main goal is right but he chooses wrong
way to achieve his right goal.
 He is curious to know everything.
 He wants know speedily.
 Dr.Faustus is master in philosophy,Law,Logic,
Theology and Medicine.And he also reads Bible.
• He said ,” I learned everything and want to do
something new,different.
• He reads Bible with interest but then he pushed Bible
away from him impassiontly.
• And then he reads a book of magic and spell.
• He is excited to learn.
• He thought he becomes powerful and king with help
of magic.
• He said I want to know more about this subject
magic.
 But Evil Angle said,”Learn about magic Faustus
and you becomes rich,powerful and famous.
 Evil Angle provokes him.
 And Good Angle said that save your soul.
 Valdes and cornelius is two friends of faustus.
 Both are Magicians who teach him the art of
black magic.
 Mephatophilis is devil.
 His main intention is to motivates Faustus for evil
path.
 His main goal is to catch Faustus’s soul and carry
it off to hell.
 And another is Lucifer the prince of devils.
 Faustus is hard worker and intelligent.
 He takes a support of evil thing to know
everything.He does not take a support of good
angle.
 He is scholar in many subject but he does not
satisfy.
 His hungriness to know everything it’s becomes
the main reason of his tragedy.
 His one steps leads him in hell.
 Good angle also tries to explain that he chooses
wrong way.
 Good angle stops him in every movement of the
play.
 He becomes greedy for knowledge and for
high position like God.
 Mephastophilis warning Faustus about
horrors of hell.
 But faustus does not understand.
 He fails to understand the difference between
him and mephastophilis.
 At last he realizes his mistake but at last he
wants to supports of good angle.
 He made a big mistake.
• In this fight evil angle wins.
• There is no any another chance to keep
him in heaven.
• He tries a lot but
All his efforts are
Fails.
• He loves magic more
Than theology.
• He seeks to achieve
Godhood in Himself.
 The good angle tells him to put the evil book
of magic aside, and the evil angle tells him to
pursue magic will lead to power on earth.
 But he takes a book of magic.
 His this mistake leads him to his tragedy.
 He makes a deal with the devil, exchanging
his soul for twenty –four years of power.
 He signs the agreement with his bloods.
 Faustus summons Mephistophilis and
bargains to surrender his soul in exchange
for twenty four years of easy living.
 And now his time is over.
 And devil take him down to hell.
 It is easily the most dramatic moment in the play.
 He tries to escapes himself because he don’t
want go with evil.
 And finally he understands his guilt.
 Old man also stops him but he becomes blind
For knowledge,power,wealth.
• Faustus dies and is taken away by devils.
• At last he knew that his path is wrong and
whatever good angle said it is right .
• He knew but it is too late.
 In this father Daedalus makes waxed wings .
 He also made waxed wings for his son Icarus.
 Daedalus advises Icarus that he will not lift high
because the waxed wings will dissolve by the
sun’s heat.
 Daedalus warns Icarus and also gives advice to
fly below.
 But Icarus does not believes in Daedalus’s words.
 And he flies impassionately and he lifted high .
And his wings are dissolve by sun’s heat. And he
falls down.
 When good angle warns him and gives right
advice. But faustus forgets everything for power,
wealth, knowledge and for position.
 He choose evil path for his greediness. He takes
wrong decision in very hurry.
 And later he regrets.
 Whenever good angle stops him he ignores good
angle.
 He choose wrong way to achieve the high of
knowledge. And he falls down in hell. He gives
excuses for not going hell but his all excuses are
fails. And his soul goes in hell.
 When Icarus does not believes in Daedalus’s
words.
 And Icarus falls
Down.

 At end of the play Lucifer with wide wings it
shows his power and
His success.
 This is plan of
Lucifer to takes

 So he celebrates

 This play suggests a fall a Faustus but
It is a fall of his knowledge , his
curiosity, his hungriness , his hard
work , and also is a fall of his
intelligence.
