Crowdfunding allows entrepreneurs to raise money from many individuals for their projects and business ideas. The document discusses one man's experience crowdfunding a 5 month trip across Europe to visit 20 brands in 12,500 km. He raised money by offering rewards like e-books or consultations in exchange for donations. He learned lessons like choosing the right platform, being realistic about costs and returns, creating worthwhile rewards, managing media attention and timing the campaign well. While challenging, crowdfunding brought him over 170 investors and new opportunities to share his experiences.
