It is important to ask questions to stimulate thought, define tasks, and identify problems. There are no foolish questions, as asking ensures understanding. Effective questioning involves defining the purpose and knowing why you are asking. Questions should be asked in different ways, such as analyzing, coming up with creative ideas, and applying practical solutions. The three types of thinking skills are analytical, creative, and practical. These skills can be enriched by gathering and analyzing information for analytical thinking, brainstorming and being curious to encourage creativity, and recognizing feelings and adjusting appropriately for practical thinking.

How to successfully work in teams with people you hate?Ron McFarland
It always bothered me that some people talk too much but don't have very good information. Others that are very knowledgable just sit there quiet. Some are too detail that nothing gets done, some too vague. Some very decisive, others never decide. To get all these different people to work better together (as well as me working with them), I studied personality types and prepared this presentation for vehicle sales seminars I was giving around the world, as I learned the departments in the dealerships didn't work well together right when I was promoting that sales people should be getting referrals from other departments.
I gave seminars on it in the dealerships and not only did it help teambuilding, it helped me work better with different types of people. I hope it will help you as well.

There’s a myth that people don’t like change. But as Margaret Wheatley put it:
"People do not resist change—people change all the time. What people resist is having others impose change on them."
Like people, organizations also change all the time. They can either impose change, which leads to resistance, or they can involve their employees in the change to help ensure buy-in. The needs of employees differ based on personality.
The purpose of this presentation is to help you learn how to include the (sometimes opposing) needs of different personality types in a change management strategy.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

1. 1. Why is it important to ask and answer questions? Is important
because by asking questions you stimulate a thought, define a task,
express problems and delineate issues, students who ask questions
are really thinking and learning. There are no foolish questions how
else will you know if you are right or wrong always ask no matter
what.
2. What are the different ways to question effectively? Give an
example of each!
*KNOWING WHY YOU QUESTION: Define your purposed
what am I trying to accomplish and why.
EXAMPLE: I ask Ms. Mazzochi to explain the assignment again
for me, the purposed for my asking was to understand the assignment
so I can do a good job on it, if I didn’t ask how else would I know how
to do it correctly.
*WHAT TO QUESTION: Knowing why you are questioning
also helps you want to think.
EXAMPLE: Before asking I acknowledge that I needed help
therefore I was thinking.
*QUESTION IN DIFFERENT WAYS: Analyze, come up with creative
ideas and apply practical solutions.
EXAMPLE: Knowing how I wanted to ask Ms. Mazzochi is just as
important as the way I asked her.
3. What are the three types of thinking skills and how can you enrich
these skills? The tree types of thinking skills are Analytical, Creative
and Practical.
4. Give examples of each. (ANALYTICAL); she analyzed her experience
and abilities to determine what she was capable of accomplishing,
2. analyzed her circumstance to determine a course of action.
(CREATIVE) She created a dream plan, to live in the U.S. and
pursue a B.A.; Masters and PHD.
(PRACTICAL) She took practical action to gain admittance to
college, pay for her family to move to the United States, and care for
her family while attending classes.
