J.K Olusegun AgbajeCEO, GUARANTY TRUST BANK PLC:
Mr. Agbaje is the Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank plc. An
alumnus of the Harvard Business School, he holds a Bachelor of
Science and Masters in Business Administration from the
University of San Francisco, USA.
With over 20 years investment and international banking
experience, he has earned a reputation as a truly accomplished and
highly respected professional. Prior to joining GTB, he worked with
Ernst & Young in the US and subsequently joined GTB as a pioneer
staff in 1991 and rose through the ranks to become Executive
Director in 2000, and Deputy Managing Director in 2002.
Mr Agbaje was instrumental in the move that made GTBank the
first Nigerian company and first bank in Sub-Saharan Africa to be
listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. Mr
Agbaje is an Innovator and a disruptor. He pioneered NDANI TV to
capture the next generation of account holders. Now, many of the
banks are following suit. He has pioneered many initiatives
including partnership with the arts, the concept of the
SME MarketHub as an ecosystem for his depositors, and also made
banking very easy with the Bank 737 mobile feature.

SSA to the Nigerian
President on Foreign
Affairs and the Diaspora: Hon. Abike Dabiri Erewa
Hon. Abike Dabiri Erewa has been described as a Sterling Nigerian
Amazon, an outstandingly brilliant broadcaster who later
transitioned to an even more outstandingly, brilliant
Parliamentarian. She is a worthy, compassionate, fair, firm,
respected and courageous leader.
She has been and is still an advocate for change, leading change
through her work serving the Nation. She has pushed for
countless bills that aim to change the system, disrupting the
status quo and giving citizens home and in the diaspora an active
incentive to be.
Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa spent 15 years of meritorious service at
the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) where she stood out for
her ability to use journalism to bring succor to millions of
Nigerians, especially children and women.

She represented the people of Ikorodu Division in the House of Representatives from June 2003 to June 2015, serving as
Chairman House Committee on Media and Public Affairs and Chairman House Committee on Diaspora Affairs. During
this time, she also championed and sponsored several bills and motions including the Freedom of Information Bill (FOI
bill), which has now been signed into law in Nigeria.
Her renowned tenure as Parliamentarian and notable achievements led to her current appointment, serving as Senior
Special Assistant to the President on Diaspora and Foreign Relations. In her current role, Hon Abike Dabiri Erewa is
leading change in Nigeria one bill at a time and doing so by understanding the challenges Nigerians in the Diaspora face
and how to come up with innovative and disruptive change policies that will lead Nigeria’s citizens forward.
She has begun to consolidate the work she did on Diaspora Affairs during her time in the House of Representatives and
currently collaborating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and various arms of government to develop a diaspora policy
and establish a commission aimed at harnessing the potential of Nigerians in the diaspora to further the economic and
social development of the country.
A proud wife and mother, she has won over 200 awards internationally and nationally and is one of the three Nigerian
women listed amongst the top 200 women in the world by Richtopia, an online UK Company.
Arole Oodua Adeyeye OgunwusiOONI OF IFE:
Arole Oodua Adeyeye Ogunwusi is the current Ooni of Ife, and an astute businessman who personifies
diversification and encourages sustainable and continuous innovative practices in his business ventures.
He is the Founder and Chairman of Gran Imperio Group, the holding company of Real Estate and Construction,
Manufacturing, Facilities Management, Leisure and Tourism companies in Nigeria and has been involved in
Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) locally and abroad for over 13 years and also active in the
development of over 2,500 housing units with various consortia of developers/promoters over the last 9 years in
Nigeria. He facilitated strong trade relationship through Association for International Business (AIB) with
presence in over 200 member countries across the globe, which he set up in Nigeria.
He also spearheaded the development of one of the best resorts in Nigeria, transforming Inagbe Island Lagos,
bounded by the Lagos Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, into a whole new community offering world-class
relaxation and recreational facilities thereby boosting Nigeria’s GDP through tourism and providing direct and
indirect employment.
A renowned innovator, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi was involved in the facilitation and development of Sparkwest
Steel Galvanizing Plant (the only Steel Galvanizing Plant in Nigeria), National Iron Ore Mining Company Limited
and Jakura Mines resuscitation projects, which is the major limestone feed stock to Obajana Cement Plant in
Kogi State, Nigeria. He is a Director, Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank Limited, (formerly GTHomes), FinaTrust
Microfinance Bank Limited, and currently the Chancellor, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi is recognized for his philanthropic activities, being involved with several community
development projects. One of which is tackling youth unemployment through the Inagbe Cocowood Factory-
Essential Homes Furniture brand, which is the first of its kind in Nigeria using 100% indigenous raw materials for
production and which employs over 300 indigenous youths.
