Faisal Imtiaz proposes a solution to address the problem of family break-ups and divorces in Pakistan. [1] The solution involves prevention through mass awareness campaigns about the importance of family bonding and minimizing incompatible marriages. [2] It also involves response through awareness campaigns to help accept and support children affected by divorce, and peer counseling in schools for these children and separated adults. [3] The aim is to help these individuals realize they are not alone and provide hope so the community no longer neglects them.

The Youth Challenges are not new. Every generation has ways and means of overcoming their challenges. I would advise the youth not to give up as they will overcome. The decisions they will make through these challenges matters a lot. Learn from the adults around you and discuss with them what you are going through.
Children's cause needs to be taken up urgently by the society. Understand their needs and be their advocate. Give them a happy childhood and great future to look forward to.

2. Family break-up:
• Now in 21st Century the biggest problem is that we as a community adopt
a non serious, disastrous attitude towards our families . Few decades back
Family was the first priority of the creature Named Human but gradually
we are loosing our social behavior.
• I selected this disaster because DIVORCE OR FAMILY BREAK UPS is a silent
disaster devastating the lives of both Partners but biggest victim of their
separation is CHILDREN…
• They are left with un answered
questions.
“our fathers provide us shelter in which
mothers keep us warm with their
love & affection, absence of any of the
two will result in generation of incomplete
personalities”
www.goodeveningworld.com/
4. Consequences:
“when u go back to home…there is no home”
• The whole family suffers..
• The direct victim of family break up are children ,the future
custodian of the planet..we are ruining a big part of our
next generation by destroying their personalities like..
.Depression They don’t trust
&self pity the community • Most of them
• Lack of confidence develop criminal
• Feel • Develop negative
thinking due to
negligence by
neglected thinking
society
• Too • Fell themseleves
lonely and excluded
sensitive from society
and • Develop rebellious
attitude
insecure
5. SOLUTION:
• PREVENTION:
Mass awareness campaign:
1. To highlight the importance of FAMILY BONDINGS..
2. To highlight importance of family bonding.
3. To realize the community that how incompatible marriages effects
their children and ultimately the community so think wisely in
choosing a partner.
• To put pressure on government to make laws protecting family
structure for example its government’s responsibility to provide
employment to its citizens. In this way we can minimize the rate of
divorce.
• Youth mobilization for developing positive attitudes in the society.
• We will launch a media campaign to aware people regarding this silent
disaster which is badly effecting our community.
6. SOLUTION AND ACTION PLAN:
• RESPONSE:
• Awareness campaigns:
1. To create the acceptance of these effected children
2. To sensitize society to own these neglected child both from society
and from their families.
• We will initiate peer education in school and universities to train
students and teachers for counseling of their fellows who suffer from
this disaster and to remove societal insensitivity towards these broken
angels.
• We have to work hard to eliminate
the sense of discrimination between
these broken children and those who
living happily with their families.
“Science may have found a cure for most
Evils; but it has found no remedy for the
Worst of them all … the apathy of human
beings ”

7. Is it relevant??
• The solution is completely relevant to the issue because the
concept of prevention is necessary to make the community
realize the importance of family and their children and the
concept of response works after divorce and it is related
specially to the care of children because they are the real
victim of their parent’s separation and also for the
counseling of the separated adults.
8. AIM:
• My aim is:
• To make them realize that they are not alone in the society
• They are no more neglected , we own them despite of all we care
them.
• To engage them in healthy activities through trained peer educators .
• To be the agents of change and drive the society from dark towards
shine…
• I am really confident that we can make a difference.. They are looking
towards us because they know we have a solution.. Help them on “now
or never” base because
this issue is really creating a worst impact
on our community.
“GIVE THEM A HOPE THAT THEY ARE NO MORE
NEGLECTED”

9. ENDING NOTE:
• I am sure that this idea is going to work in real life because me
and my fellows are already working on peer to peer education
and we know the power of peer education and community
mobilization…
