Position: Air Freight Cargo Supervisor (specialized in Cisco, Juniper, Dell and HP Product)
Duties:
 Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and
procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external
government regulations or customer’s policies / requirements.
 Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved
efficiency.
 Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed as per the
DLSOP.
 Use Tree View on daily basis.
 Ensure the below system reports are utilized frequently in order to effectively
supervise operations:
o Daily Exception Status Report - STAT 1 for Air Import – (Daily).
o SHIPMENTS LOGGED ELECTRONICALLY – SLE Report
(Daily).
o CONSOLS NOT SETTLED Report - (Daily).
o INVOICES NOT BILLED Report (Daily).
o ADDITIONAL BILL – MALCOLM Report (weekly).
o TIMING / CYCLE TIME Report – (monthly to measure key
event timings or as needed by customers).
 Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors (airlines, trucking
companies, and others)
 Work to reach our vendors lowest cost in market.
 Support the manager in the following areas:
o Proactively work to maintain accounts payment within 30 days.
o Ensure company credit procedures are followed and utilized
effectively.
o Manage accounts payable to vendors (airlines, truckers etc.)
Utilizing BNP.
o Manage accounting discrepancies via AJAX report.
 Support Sales department in the following areas:
o Pro-actively provide pricing alternatives, routing solutions and
technical assistance to clients, through internal sales for regional
and global perspective.
o Provide Customer with competitive prices upon request or
proposal, taking in consideration time and scope of service
