What are the benefits of codes orstandards? Unification and organization of work because if everyone has his own way of naming files, other will make an effort to know the content of the file and be forced to open the file to know its content wasting a time that is estimated to be five project time with high probability of repeating files or having non- important files. In August 2004, the American National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) published a report indicating that nearly 15$ billion is lost annually in the American construction industry because of lack of obvious criteria. The code organizes the work, who starts, who completes and how we exchange the information and who has the right to open the file and modify it, so we have to realize the codes, translate them and find a special code for the Arab region.
We have to differentiate between the Standard which contains the principles agreed upon in a particular field without entering into details of implementation, and Protocol which is a specific type of standards or more verbose in terms of step-by-step detailed explanation of the implementation of a work and it may be related to applications or programs. Levels of BIM Application: Almost all previous codes benefit the second phase of BIM There are three levels of BIM application:  BIM Level 0, which is the level of CAD and the level of non-cooperation, only drawing lines and brackets either on the sheet or on the computer. In fact most of the companies are at this level.  BIM level 1 focuses on a 3D model, error reduction and continuous communication. It assumes that if you work with British code, you will use BS 1192: 2007.  BIM level 2, which embodies the capabilities of the information model, simulation, facilitating transfer and exchange of information and does not necessarily work on one model, which most countries aspire to. It depends on files of ifc, COBieConstruction Operations Building Information Exchange.  BIM level 3, Open BIM, is the integration so that the work is on one platform and enables real time handling. Everyone is working on the same file so you do not have to import and export but to work on the same file in all things such as model work, time dimension, cost dimension and other dimensions. So far the third level depends on the Extension of Industry Foundation Class (IFC) and it is an open-source version that does not belong to a particular company and it is used for exchange between programs.

The code organizes the work, who starts, who completes and how we exchange the information and who has the right to open the file and modify it, so we have to realize the codes, translate them and find a special code for the Arab region.

    Levels of BIMApplication: Almost all previous codes benefit the second phase of BIM There are three levels of BIM application:  BIM Level 0, which is the level of CAD and the level of non-cooperation, only drawing lines and brackets either on the sheet or on the computer. In fact most of the companies are at this level.  BIM level 1 focuses on a 3D model, error reduction and continuous communication. It assumes that if you work with British code, you will use BS 1192: 2007.  BIM level 2, which embodies the capabilities of the information model, simulation, facilitating transfer and exchange of information and does not necessarily work on one model, which most countries aspire to. It depends on files of ifc, COBieConstruction Operations Building Information Exchange.  BIM level 3, Open BIM, is the integration so that the work is on one platform and enables real time handling. Everyone is working on the same file so you do not have to import and export but to work on the same file in all things such as model work, time dimension, cost dimension and other dimensions. So far the third level depends on the Extension of Industry Foundation Class (IFC) and it is an open-source version that does not belong to a particular company and it is used for exchange between programs.
