This five-day intensive course enables participants to develop expertise in implementing and managing a Food Safety Management System based on ISO 22000. The course covers initiating, planning, implementing, controlling, and monitoring an FSMS, as well as preparing for certification. Participants who pass the ANSI accredited exam on the final day can receive the Certified ISO 22000 Lead Implementer credential.

SUMMARY
This five-day intensive course enables the participants to develop the necessary expertise to
support an organization in implementing and managing a Food Safety Management System
(FSMS) based on ISO 22000. Participants will also be given a thorough grounding in best
practices used to implement food safety controls from all areas of ISO 22000.
COURSE AGENDA
DAY 1: Introduction to Food Safety Management System (FSMS) concepts as required by
ISO 22000; initiating a FSMS
DAY 2: Planning an FSMS based on ISO 22000
DAY 3: Implementing an FSMS based on ISO 22000
DAY 4: Control, monitor and measure an FSMS and the certification audit of an FSMS in accordance
with ISO 22000
DAY 5: ANSI Accredited Certification Exam
PECB’s 3 Hour Certified ISO 22000 Lead Implementer Exam is available in different languages. The candidates
who do not pass the exam will be able to retake it for free within 12 months from the initial exam date.
After successfully completing the exam, participants can apply for the credentials of Certified
ISO 22000 Lead Implementer.
