20. Disclosure
Turning in your class disclosure and Human
Sexuality form, signed by you and your
parent/guardian, is your first assignment. It
is worth 50 points and is due August
(A)29/(B)30.

21. Classroom Expectations
● Follow all directions immediately
● Stay on task
● Be Respectful to others and equipment (this includes using respectful and
appropriate language)
● Be on time (in your seat when the bell rings) and prepared
● No electronic devices without permission. If use without permission
persists the device will be confiscated to be picked up after school.
● No food or drink in class (water ok)
● Teacher dismisses the class
● Be mature with topics.
● Follow all other school policies (i.e. dress code, attendance, etc.)

29. Absences
● You have 5 school days to make up missed work and
assessments
● Unexcused absences, work automatically treated as late
work and marked accordingly
● Work turned in after 5 school days is considered late and
will be marked accordingly (10% deduction every day it is
late up to 50%)
● You can come in before or after school, make arrangements
with Mrs. Mosher
● Textbooks can be checked out at the library for overnight
use.

30. Hall Pass
● 3 per quarter
● Used for emergencies or late assignments only
● If you do not have your hall pass you do not get to leave
the room
● Cannot be used in the first or last 10 minutes of class
● If you are gone for more than 10 minutes you will be
marked absent
● Can turn in up to 3 hall passes at the end of each
quarter for extra credit.

31. FCCLA
● Child Development is connected to FCCLA (Family, Career,
and Community Leaders of America.)
● Its purpose is to promote personal growth and leadership
through Family and Consumer Science education.
● This course has multiple projects that qualify for STAR
Events in FCCLA competitions.
● Any student wishing to join FCCLA club is welcome.
● Talk to the teacher if you are interested.

32. Assigned Class Student Number
● Each student will be assigned a number (based on
alphabetical order of class)
● You will use the Chromebook, textbook, and file folder
labeled with your assigned number
● Please write your assigned number on your assignments

33. Emergency Plans
Fire:
● Exit the room and turn to the right. Than take the next
right towards the football field and exit the building
through the exterior doors.
Hard Lockdown:
● Gather in the preschool storage room. Sit on the floor.
Do not use your cell phone.
