Website Recommendations
A. Analysis of content
• Content is complete
• Most of it is up-to-date
• Calendar includes upcoming events
• Includes all the statistics of clients served
• Overall, website is visually appealing
B. Analysis of navigation/menus & submenus
• Easy navigation tabs
• Fast response when hovering over them
• Relevant submenus under main menus
C. Analysis of graphics/visuals
• Website colors match the Catholic Charities logo
• Text font and font size are good
• Less text on the front page doesn’t make it too overwhelming
• Nice photos under the cities (Fresno, Madera, Bakersfield)
• Pop of green is a nice contrasting color
D. Analysis of usefulness
• Fairly large and noticeable call-to-action “Donate” and “Volunteer”
• Redirects to pages that have a lot of info on donating and
volunteering
• FAQ on volunteer page
• Should have a clear ‘About Us’ section
E. Analysis of likelihood of repeat visits
• Visitors would go back to read more about their services
2. • Since the Catholic Charities Facebook page is pretty active, people
might go there to read about special events coming up rather than
check the calendar on the website
• The breakdown of the Catholic Charities facilities in the 3 different
cities might be useful to its clients and volunteers
F. Anything else you think would be important for your client to have
• Maybe include some photos of current volunteers, action shots of
the neighborhood market, thrift store, etc. VISUALS ARE KEY
• Switch up the front page with updated photos and upcoming events
• Need to change the logo – make it clearer (it’s a bit blurry)
• Move mission statement a bit higher up
