Giving back is a real priority for our teams
across the UK and internationally. Some
highlights include:
• Our UK partnership with Shelter is changing the lives
of more than 2,500 children and families – and was
voted for by our staff as our ‘one team’ charity partner
for 2015-17.
• Working with England Rugby, we are the principal
partner for All Schools which is taking rugby to the next
generation, and all of the life skills that the sport has to
offer – teamwork, discipline and confidence.
• We consciously promote diversity and, in an industry which
typically attracts more men than women, we are proud that
the proportion of female professional staff at CBRE - 33%
(28% at Associate and above) - is significantly greater than
the industry average of 13% and we now have an equal
intake of female and male graduate surveyors.
• Globally, we respond to disasters wherever they may
occur, and have committed funds over the last year in
West Africa, Nepal, the Philippines and Syria.
We have policies in place to promote and
encourage payroll giving, volunteering and pro
bono services.
