2. Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) Overall-policy setting body for the project. Representatives of the partners, the GEF Secretariat, UNEP/DGEF, UNEP/DEWA, World Bank, UNDP, donor representatives, etc. Co-chaired by UNEP/DGEF and GEF. Meets annually.

3. Independent Guidance & Review Panel (IGRP) Will provide independent opinions and advice on planned activities, protocols, technical reports and products Advice on related activities and possible co-financing opportunities. at least once a year. Representatives of GEF STAP (Chair); Four independent experienced experts in relevant fields (selected by GEF STAP).

5. Monitoring & Evaluation Plan The Project Results Framework includes SMART indicators for each expected outcome as well as mid-term and end-of-project targets (Appendix 2). These indicators along with the key deliverables and benchmarks (Appendix 4) will be the main tools for assessing project implementation progress and whether project results are being achieved.
