1) Can Bonastre Winery is located 30 minutes from Barcelona in Masquefa, Spain in the historic wine region of Penedes. 2) The winery was founded in the 16th century and has 50 hectares of vineyards producing half a million bottles per year. 3) In addition to wine production, Can Bonastre has transformed into a wine resort with a hotel, spa, restaurant, and event spaces focusing on wine tourism.

6. A family started a tradition that would be alive until today… Joana Bonastre, who wrote the previous testament, and her husband, Jaume Bonastre, gave the name of Can Bonastre to the Countryhouse. By that time, vinyeards already existed in their property althought the winery was something that appeared many years after, in 1996, when the current owner decided to produce its own wine, inspired by his special admiration to french chateaux .
