Cava producers from the Spain’s Levante region are gaining in prominence each year, with the likes of Pago de
Tharsys at the forefront of the market. 2005 still remains the benchmark year when they were voted ‘Best Cava in
Spain’ but since then the bodega has grown in sophistication creating some truly superb blends. The Millesime
collection enjoyed success last year with the Garnacha Rosado winning the ‘Grand Gold Medal’ in Brussels, fighting
off stiff competition from Champagne. 2013 sees the addition of a Chardonnay mono-varietal to this elegant range.
