A middle aged female presented with a gradually growing painless soft swelling near her right eye for three years. An excisional biopsy confirmed it was a cavernous haemangioma. Cavernous haemangiomas are blood vessel malformations composed of dilated blood vessels. Hemangiomas in the maxillofacial region are uncommon. Complete surgical excision is the treatment of choice for cavernous haemangiomas, though non-invasive options like corticosteroids and cryotherapy may also be considered.
