Nutrients and minerals a cat needs Cats need a lot of nutrients. The main nutrients are: FATS -Help transport vitamins and other nutrients to the organs. PROTEIN -Helps to build and maintain cells, provide energy, inspire muscle contractions. CARBOHYDRATES - A source of energy and extra fiber.

Symptoms and Possible Causes of A Sick Cat Vomiting May be caused by a cat ingesting an irritant or contaminated food. Diarrhea - May be caused by stress or change in diet If symptoms persist, it may suggest bacterial or viral infections If its accompanied by vomiting or blood in the stool, it is a sign of a serious disorder. Liver Disease Liver may be damaged Liver malfunction may include vomiting, diarrhea, excessive thirst and abdominal pain. Diabetes - Symptoms may include frequent urination, excessive thirst, increased of appetite and unexplained weight loss. WHATEVER SICKNESS, JUST VISIT THE VET!
Small Facts Main requirement in a cat’s diet is water. - Make sure you have fresh water for your cat all the time!    Cats needs a high level of protein - Source of such: meat, fish, eggs, cheese…etc.    Vitamins has to be taken with food as the cat’s digestive system cannot manufacture it.    B groups of vitamins are also important in cat’s diet but It may be destroyed during the process of certain foodstuff.

Able to  showcase our research skills, problem solving skills and the handling of data . Allowed us to  learn more about biology  (cats’ body system) Helped us  boost our mathematical calculation skills  by going to pet shops to check out the prices of both premium and non-premium cat food. Followed by  comparing  the different ingredients in them and making a decision on which brand is most worth to buy.
