DESCRIPTION
The combination of colistin and enrofloxacin acts additive. Enrofloxacin is a
synthetic, broad spectrum antimicrobial substance, belonging to the
fluoroquinoline group of antibiotics. Enrofloxacin is active against
Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasmas. It is well
absorbed after oral administration and rapidly excreted in the bile and
urine, mostly as enrofloxacin and the metabolite ciprofloxacin. Colistin is an
antibiotic from the group of polymyxins with bactericidal action against
Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Haemophilus and Salmonella spp. It is
absorbed poorly after oral administration and serum concentrations are
generally undetectable in target species. Orally administered colistin is
eliminated almost totally in faeces.
INDICATIONS
ENROCOL is indicated for gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract
infections caused by colistin and enrofloxacin sensitive micro-organisms
like Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella and
Salmonella spp. in poultry.
DOSAGE
For oral administration:
Poultry: 1 litre per 2000 litres of drinking water for 3 - 5 days.
Only sufficient medicated drinking water should be prepared to cover daily
requirements. Medicated drinking water should be replaced every 24 hours.
WITHDRAWAL TIMES

Florfenicol is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibiotic that is effective

INDICATIONS

Menadione sodium bisulfite is a water-soluble form of menadione, which
belongs to the Vitamin K class of compounds. These are necessary for the

Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with bacteriostatic action against Gram-positive

reached within 2 – 4 hours. Colistin is a cyclic polypeptide antibiotic and has a
bactericidal action against selected Gram-negative bacteria. The first bacterial

gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infections, caused by florfenicol sensitive

herd should be established before preventive treatment. Medication should be
initiated promptly when respiratory disease is diagnosed.

CONTRAINDICATION

impaired motor function such as muscle tremors, head shaking and
increased salivation which are of temporary nature. Although normally
non-irritant, it may occasionally cause local reaction at the site of the
injection; this should resolve naturally in a short period of time. Care should
be taken to estimate accurately the bodyweight of animals to be treated
before calculating the dosage. The product may be administered to
pregnant or lactating animals but care should be taken when treating
heavily pregnant animals or animals suffering stress from adverse weather
conditions, poor nutrition, penning, handing, etc.

EURO-ALGIN10 is a sterile solution of Analgin (Dipyrone) in water for
injection. Dipyrone (Analgin) is a pyrazoline derivative. It is a nonsteroidal

INDICATIONS
EURO-ALGIN10 is recommended for colic treatment in horses and for control
of fever and pain in animal species.
It has central analgesic action. It increases blood supply to striped muscles

DOSAGE & USE
