college, family financial status and academic performance) had 92% (adjR

P<0.05) joint contribution in the dependent variable (perceived ability to cope with stress). The linear
regression analysis showed that only age (β=-.112, p=.001), sex (β=.124, p=.000), religion (β=.084, p=.009),
college (β=-.088, p=.007) and academic performance (β=.249, p=.000) had significant relative contribution to
the dependent variable.The Mann-Whitney U results showed that there is significant difference in the perceived

Artistic Evaluation in Classical Ballet
This study seeks to create objective criteria (an artistic evaluation model) that define what is
“good” or “bad” in terms of the artistic aspects of classical ballet performance. The authors started by
interviewing professional judges and dancers to determine which movements the study should target (1). Next,
the impressions given by the music used during those movements were identified using a principal component
and cluster analysis (2). In order to narrow down analytical targets, multiple regression analysis was then
conducted to find out which movement elements had the greatest impact on overall scores (3). Motion capture
technology was used to collect positional data on each of these movement elements; this data was used to
determine how physical characteristics like body angle and speed correlated with the impressions given by the
music. These relationships were then used to construct a model for artistic evaluation (4). The model was
actually applied to dancers in order to check the validity of the analytical results, based on whether they
improved their performance to give the same impression as the sound (5). The results were used to define clear
criteria for artistic evaluations of classical ballet, and the desired results were obtained.

Cat 2013 day 12 analysis
- 1. CAT 2013 Day 11 Analysis: Quant Moderate, DI Calculation Intensive
- 2. The first session for CAT 2013 Day 12 on October 30, got over this afternoon at 1.00 PM. According to students, Quantitative section was moderate difficulty level while Data Interpretation was very calculation intensive. Verbal section was easy including Logical Reasoning.
- 3. Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation: Average difficulty level The Quantitative Ability area had maximum questions from Geometry while Permutation and Combination (P&C) was missing from various students’ question set. Rests of the questions were from other usual topics such as Arithmetic, Trigonometry,Mensuration, Time Speed & Distance, Number system, etc.
- 4. Data Interpretation: Calculation intensive Various students of CAT 2013 day 12 first session said that DI was very calculation intensive and required a lot of time to solve. Questions were based on Bar graph and tables.
- 5. Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning: Easy but tricky The Verbal Ability questions were termed as easy by the candidates. Verbal Section covered questions from all topics like Reading Comprehension, Para Jumble, Vocabulary, Error correction in paragraph, identifying the Out of Context sentences. The Logical Reasoning questions in CAT 2013 Day 12 were very easy as per the students. Questions were based on family tree and sequencing.
- 6. CAT 2013 Results: CAT 2013 result is scheduled to be announced on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. The CAT 2013 result score card will be valid between January 14, 2014 and December 31, 2014.
