 What’s Old Is New Again:
 Trend of 2017 - Levi’s® Commuter™ Trucker Jacket with
Jacquard™
 Inspired by iconic 1967 Type III Trucker Jacket.
TREND FORECASTING ANALYSIS
 Chip Bergh, in September 2011, basically went on a listening
tour, spending an hour with each of the company’s top 60
executives.
 e-mailed them his questions beforehand:
1. What are three things we should not change?
2. What are three things we absolutely must change?
 Then at last he came to know that , people are moving
towards the other brand due to the lack of creativity and new
trends in levis.
TREND FORECASTING ANALYSIS
 It was then, Bergh decided to introduce the Levi’s®
Commuter™ Trucker Jacket with Jacquard™ as people
want to make life easier, by staying connected to the
digital world.
 Then he collaborated with JACQUARD which was
owned by GOOGLE.
 Serving the commuter community and beyond it to
those whose just don’t like having their smart phones
out, in general.
 Bergh said “you can keep your phone in your pocket
and your eyes on the world around you, staying

seamless.
SALES FORECASTING ANALYSIS
 It was targeted at people who transport by bike and cycle.
 Bike riders – due to reflected strips and not to get distracted
while riding.
 Sales forecasting is also done by checking through the records of
the past sales history of Levis.
SALES FORECASTING ANALYSIS
 Practical purpose to wearables.
