2. Defination:
• Malaria is a life-threatening disease caused by a parasite that is
spread by the bite of an infected mosquito. It is most common in
tropical and subtropical regions.

3. Etiology
• Malaria is caused by a parasite that is transmitted by the bite of an infected
mosquito. The parasite belongs to the genus Plasmodiums
• Symptoms :

chills
headache
nausea and vomiting
fatigue and muscle pain

• Pt was apparently asymptomatic 4days back developed the fever,
sever headaches , chills and nausea.
• His condition worsened , leading to hospitalization.
