Carina is shy but is chosen to play the lead role of Tammy the Angel in her school's Christmas play. She worries about forgetting her lines in front of the large audience. Her teacher, Miss Evelyn, encourages her and suggests pretending her family is the only audience to reduce nerves. At the dress rehearsal, Carina still forgets her lines but Miss Evelyn reassures her. On the night of the play, Carina finds her family in the crowd and focuses on performing for them, allowing her to remember her lines and enjoy playing Tammy. The play is a success and Carina gains confidence in performing.
