This ppt presents career opportunities for students who are confused to opt stream after 10th class. everyone suggests but no one put all career options before students to give them enough knowledge to take an informed decision themselves. career is not limited to only earn money and and fame, but it is more than the way of living. This ppt will be helpful for those serious students who want to opt their stream wisely not in forcefully. My effort is not big but will be fruitful to those students who are not mature enough to take decisions without knowing all potential career options. All the best to my dear younger brothers and sisters for their advancement in career as they wish. choose career wisely, not by influentially or forcefully.

Perception
This is a very interesting topic!
A process by which individuals organize and interpret their sensory impressions in order to give meaning to their environment.
It is a process of selecting, sorting, interpretating information inputs to produce meaning.
We chose what information we pay attention to, organize it & then interpret it.
People’s behavior is based on their perception of what reality is, not on reality itself.
Optical Illusions: What are illusions? Illusions trick us into perceiving something differently than it actually exists, so what we see does not correspond to physical reality. Hence, the word illusion comes from the Latin verb illudere meaning, "to mock." In addition, some illusions show us one thing in a picture, while someone else sees something entirely different in the same picture.
This Presentation comprises of many tricks based on optical illusions.
Also the Gestalt Psychology is briefly discussed.
Hope you enjoy this fun topic!
Goal setting is the first step towards achieving success.
The basic reason for this is that you can’t get where you are trying to go until you clearly define where that is. Research studies show a direct link between goals and enhanced performance in the task/activity. Goals help you focus and allocate your time and resources efficiently, and they can keep you motivated when you feel like giving up.
In this ppt the classification of goals, the process of goal setting and analysis of the same is briefly described.
Time management is the way that one organizes and plans the time that would be spent on completing certain tasks and activities in the most effective and productive manner.
24 hrs seem to be rather to short to achieve the set targets and goals.
A few time management techniques like:
1. Covey's Time management Matrix
2. ABC list method
3. Pickle Jar theory etc
are discussed in this ppt briefly to help one attain greater productivity and efficiency.
Today's competitive world seems to stress out the children with excessive study burden, the pressure to excel in various fields like music, sports, vocational studies etc.
The students find it hard to strike the right balance between their studies and other recreational activities and get bogged down with stress due to parental and peer pressure.
Spending a little time understanding and learning about these simple time-management techniques will help one carry out all the tasks and activities smoothly without missing out or giving up on certain hobbies.
Studies gets simpler once you are aware of your method of studying. Understand the type of learner that you are and try and work on your shortcomings.
This includes a brief detail on the categories of learners and the very effective SQ3R study tool.
These study methods have proved to improve concentration, focus ,memory and quality of study.
Focus and concentration are the key aspects to achieve success in any task.
The lack of it makes one unable to meet the desired goals.
Simple concentration tips will help one focus better in their work. This will save on time, money and efforts.
Personality of a person is defined and formed due to several factors. Once these factors are understood then you can try and develop your personality into a fine one.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.
