Introduction and Company Overview
Lee Training Solutions (LTS) was first registered with the Training Accreditation Council
(TAC) of Western Australia in 2011, and is a registered Australian Company.
LTS solely operates in the State of Western Australia, although our licence extends to the
State of Victoria as well. The Company has been in operation for six years, and is currently
licenced till 2023.
The general nature of our business operations is to supply accredited training to the
resource, construction and mining sector of Western Australia. This includes at present, 17
accredited units of competencies which make up the main core competencies required by
workers to work safely and be compliant in these above mentioned sectors.
LTS wanted at the outset of the formation of the Company, to provide a flexible, tailored
and proactive training solution that would support mobilisation and ongoing training
required by Electrical and Mechanical projects.
This sets LTS apart from our competitors within the Vet sector.
In the past six years LTS has provided this service to Companies such as BHP Billiton, Rio
Tinto, Roy Hill, Westrac, Downer Engineering, Way Electrical, and ECM to mention a few.
Within our training regime LTS actively promotes the Safe System of Work philosophy
throughout all of the units of competency on our scope, as this is the foundation in the
prevention of incidents. LTS also contextualises this training to support different Companies
policies and procedures in regard to their safety culture.
4 | P a g e
Core Competencies and Achievements
LTS within its brief existence has always achieved exceptional high standards of compliance
and Quality for both the training regulator (TAC) and on projects including both Electrical
and Mechanical.
In regard to TAC, LTS has continuously demonstrated that it is a low risk organisation over
the past six years of our registration, which has resulted in LTS being accepted in the
compliance recognition program due to exceptional audit results and ongoing compliance
within the VET Sector.
LTS has also been directly or indirectly involved in some very successful construction
projects within the State of Western Australia. These projects include Green and Brown field
works from the Roy Hill project in 2015, to upgrade projects such as Jimblebar in 2013.
During these projects, which would be regarded as High Risk work systems, LTS has helped
Companies reduce incident rates and promote a safety culture that has been recognised by
several Project Managers and Clients.
These achievements drive LTS to continually achieve high standards of work, as to provide
industry with competent personnel to achieve their production targets safely.

  • 3. 3 | P a g e Introduction and Company Overview Lee Training Solutions (LTS) was first registered with the Training Accreditation Council (TAC) of Western Australia in 2011, and is a registered Australian Company. LTS solely operates in the State of Western Australia, although our licence extends to the State of Victoria as well. The Company has been in operation for six years, and is currently licenced till 2023. The general nature of our business operations is to supply accredited training to the resource, construction and mining sector of Western Australia. This includes at present, 17 accredited units of competencies which make up the main core competencies required by workers to work safely and be compliant in these above mentioned sectors. LTS wanted at the outset of the formation of the Company, to provide a flexible, tailored and proactive training solution that would support mobilisation and ongoing training required by Electrical and Mechanical projects. This sets LTS apart from our competitors within the Vet sector. In the past six years LTS has provided this service to Companies such as BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Roy Hill, Westrac, Downer Engineering, Way Electrical, and ECM to mention a few. Within our training regime LTS actively promotes the Safe System of Work philosophy throughout all of the units of competency on our scope, as this is the foundation in the prevention of incidents. LTS also contextualises this training to support different Companies policies and procedures in regard to their safety culture.
  • 4. 4 | P a g e Core Competencies and Achievements LTS within its brief existence has always achieved exceptional high standards of compliance and Quality for both the training regulator (TAC) and on projects including both Electrical and Mechanical. In regard to TAC, LTS has continuously demonstrated that it is a low risk organisation over the past six years of our registration, which has resulted in LTS being accepted in the compliance recognition program due to exceptional audit results and ongoing compliance within the VET Sector. LTS has also been directly or indirectly involved in some very successful construction projects within the State of Western Australia. These projects include Green and Brown field works from the Roy Hill project in 2015, to upgrade projects such as Jimblebar in 2013. During these projects, which would be regarded as High Risk work systems, LTS has helped Companies reduce incident rates and promote a safety culture that has been recognised by several Project Managers and Clients. These achievements drive LTS to continually achieve high standards of work, as to provide industry with competent personnel to achieve their production targets safely.
