The 5 cancers that have the highest percentage of cases that can be prevented are cervix (~100%), Kaposi's (~100%), melanoma (~95%), anal (~88%), and lung (~86%). The 5 cancers with the largest numbers of preventable cases are lung (~185,000), melanoma (~75,000), colorectal (~77,000), breast (~68,000), and oral/throat (~36,000).
