“CANCER, TYPES AND
APPROACHES”

3. What causes cancer ?
• Cancer arises from the mutation of a normal gene.
• Mutated genes that cause cancer are called
oncogenes.
• It is thought that several mutations need to occur to
give rise to cancer
• Cells that are old or not functioning properly
normally self destruct and are replaced by new cells.
• However, cancerous cells do not self destruct and
continue to divide rapidly producing millions of new
cancerous cells.
4.
5. • Benign Tumor- Do not spread from the site of
origin but can crowd out with surrounding cells
e.g. Brain Tumor.
• Malignant Tumor- can spread from the
original site and cause secondary tumor these
can block the Blood vessels, Gut, Glands and
Lungs.
Benign or malignant?

Diabetes, Cancer and Heart Problems.
• Skin cancer ‘s most danger situation of can be best
treated with immunotherapy proved by Canadian
scientist ‘fegshe’ by research from 2011-2015 of
about 6662 patients case study .
• A new use of Tattoo ink can be utilised for skin
cancer by California university that is made of
carbon grafting ,indian ink or fluorescent dye
through which spots can be hidden, it can change
colour.

• Low-cost medical consultation
• Increased government funding to seek cures
• Non Government Organization Works Actively
