Child Labour Essay
Did you ever compare yourself to the other child labourers, and think what would your life will
be like? Have you ever think how to free those children? Child Labour takes a long time to stop,
but it takes patient and hard work. Iqbalshowed us that, that helping others can be hard but can
make people happy and feel that there is hope for each child in the world.Through out this
writing, you will able to know more about Free the Children, Iqbal, and Poverty. The first topic
is poverty. Poverty is very unhealthy to live your life. Iqbal experienced abused that he should
not experienced in the first place and he should not been taken away from his family. Free the
Children organization help the labourers to be free and received their right. All the people all
over the world should take a stand and speak about how to stop child labour, if we do not take a
stand now, all the children will feel hopeless and nobody can help them. There is hope for
everybody, and they have the right to be free and enjoy their precious life. Children in
developing countries are denied their rights to be in school, to play with their friends, to be with
their parents, or to appreciate what they have. We have a lot of things we should do to solve this
issue: we need to donate money, support organization, and raise awareness young teenagers.
Poverty is the main components of why he children have to work. Poverty is a life cycle: poverty
makes you poor, and then you owe a debt so you have to work to pay the debt and became child
labourers. Being poor is very hard to live your life, you don’t have the basic needs like: food,
water, health care, sanitation and benefits. A lot of people all over the world need an education,
to know things that you need in life. Everybody deserves the important needs of life, and also
live to the fullest everyday.
Iqbal works to pay the debt that his father owes Hussain Khan. Approximately, he worked 1 year
for Hussain Khan. Iqbal and his family are in poverty. He has been punished for escaping and
trying to raise awareness (D’Adamo, chpt 8) He helped to free the children. Children shouldn’t
be working at very young age, they’ll forget how to play, and lose their imagination.
Free the children are when all the children aren’t working, not being abused and not being a
slave. Being free means you’re with your family have the right to have an education, to be safe
and to live their life to the best ability. If the children will be free, they will have lots of

2. opportunity to do what ever they want. They can have proper medicine, nutrients, and vitamins.
If we can free the children by supporting an organization, and raising awareness. We can achieve
this mission together. Free the children is a charity and travels around the world to donate/give
such as beverages.
Now you have read my essay about child labourers and hopefully you learned something
new. Child Labourers are like old, pair of shoes that can be thrown out and replace them easily.
“Every human in the world must be treated as a person.” These children need your help right
now. Help them by raising money and donating to Salvation Army. Remember that, “Nobody
has the right to make you a slave.”
