As an assistant manager intern with a Diploma in Petroleum Management from the school of petroleum
studies, I have amassed the necessary skills and competence working at Ainushamsi Energy Depot at
the Kenya Pipeline Company.
The experience working at the Depot enabled me to develop specific customer service skills, safety
and operational experience which would come in handy in achieving any organizations goals and

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Ensures all incoming trucks dipped and discharged with right quantity and quality of all products
in accordance with safety regulations.
 Ensured nominated tank for receipt is in agreement with the expected product to be received.
 Maintained good ullage and Seal Register.
 Ensure compliance with safety rules and policies.
 Ullaging of the loaded trucks to get a specific figure of the product been loaded and also the Liquid
and overall height of each compartment been ullaged.
 Seal acquisition and control.
 Conducted regular calibration chart monitoring.
 Computation of daily stock position on loss and gain.
 Received and processed customer orders and made outbound calls to resolve routine
customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
 Coordinated and resolved customer follow-up request to provide and maintain the highest
level of customer service.
 Prioritized open, overdue and critical customer concerns and escalate to management as
needed.
 Clearance of loaded trucks with the relevant Authorities such as the Kenya Revenue Authority.
 Made contact with cancel request customers to retain business.
 Entered and maintained customer data e.g. (contact information, billing information) into
customer database accurately and timely.
● Compiled daily and monthly reports of loading activities to be sent to HQ.
