CALLED TO BE AS GOD IS.
God is love. He loves us.
We love Him. He lives in us.
As a consequence his love should ooze out of us naturally.
GOD IS LOVE

• If we ever want to be good representants of
God, we need to be immersed in His love, to be
able to let the abundance of His love flow out of
us and touch and change those around us.

• Becoming as God is does not imply an effort of
our part, but actually is allowing God who lives in
us, do His work
WHAT IS LOVE?

•Let‟s review some
scriptures to find out what
God describes as love.

Obedience by Faith
20 If someone says, “I
love God,” and hates
his brother, he is a liar;

love his brother whom
he has seen, how can
he love God whom he
has not seen?
1 John 4:18
New King James Version
(NKJV)
18 There is no fear

in
love; but perfect love
casts out fear,
because fear
involves torment.
But he who fears
has not been made
perfect in love.

love your neighbor
as yourself:
I am the LORD.
1 John 3:16-18
New King James Version
(NKJV)
The Outworking of Love
16 By

this we know love, because
He laid down His life for us. And
we also ought to lay
down our lives for the
brethren. 17 But whoever has this
world‟s goods, and sees his
brother in need, and shuts up his
heart from him, how does the
love of God abide in him?
18 My

little children, let us not love
in word or in tongue, but in deed
and in truth.
Matthew 6:24
New King James Version
(NKJV)

You Cannot Serve God
and Riches
24 “No one can serve two
masters; for either he will
hate the one and love the
other, or else he will be
loyal to the one and
despise the other. You
cannot serve God and
mammon.
PROPHETIC ACTIVATION.

• Remember:

• God is Love.
• We are commanded to love God.

• To love our neighbor.
• To love ourselves.
WE ABIDE IN HIM

• He‟s words abide in us.
• We can ask what we desire.
• And it will be done for us!
• Ask with generosity
YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG ON THIS:

• When you prophesy to someone
that God loves him/her you are
100 % accurate in your prophecy;
because that is the nature of God,
that is what He is, that is what He
does.
PROPHESYING IS SIMPLY SPEAKING GOD‟S
HEART OVER A PERSON, OR OVER YOURSELF!

• Tonight, you are prophesying over yourself:

• That God loves you.
• That you love God.

• That you love your neighbor
• That you love yourself
REMEMBER TO USE THE RIGHT
GRAMMATICAL TENSE.
•

Time Expressions with Present Perfect

•

When we use the Present Perfect it means that something has happened
at some point in our lives before now. Remember, the exact time the
action happened is not important.

• Present Perfect suggests the process is not complete and more
actions are possible.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
• God has loved you before He put the foundations of the
universe!

• He has blessed you since you were in your mothers womb!
• His love is:
• Eternal

unconditional

unlimite

free

• You cannot buy God‟s love.
• You cannot pay for it.
• Why you would try to buy something that you already possess
and that has been giving you by free?
NEXT WEEK…

• Next week we will start an Study of
“The Feast of the Lord.”
• Leviticus 23 speaks of the seven Feasts of
the Lord.
