The document summarizes the Four Spiritual Laws, which outline the path to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. The four laws are: 1) God loves humanity and has a plan for our lives, but sin separates us from God; 2) All humans are sinners and cannot know God without salvation; 3) Jesus alone can save us from sin through his death and resurrection; 4) We must have faith in Jesus to receive salvation and a restored relationship with God. The passage encourages putting one's faith in Jesus by reciting a sample prayer to accept him as Savior.

1. Four spiritual Laws – 23rd April 2017
"Yet to all who didreceive him,to those who believedin hisname, he gave the rightto become
childrenof God—(John1:12).
The Four Spiritual Lawsare a wayof sharingthe goodnewsof the salvationthatis available through
faithinJesusChrist. The fourspiritual laws are a simple wayof organizingthe importantinformationin
the Gospel intofourpoints.
The first ofthe Four Spiritual Laws: God lovesyouandhas a wonderful planforyourlife. We canlearn
fromJohn 3:16, "For Godso lovedthe world that he gave his one andonlySon, that whoever believes
in himshall not perishbut have eternal life." One may wantto know as to whyGod didthis? We find
the answerwhere Jesussaidin John10:10, "Thethief comes onlyto steal and kill anddestroy; I have
come that they may have life, and have it to the full." Whatis blockingusfromGod's love which
preventsusfromhavingan abundantlife? Assaidinthe passage itisthe “thief”whoisSatan. He ishell-
benton misdirectingGodspeople sothattheyare like lostsheep.Butdue toHislove,GodsentHis son
Jesustobe our shepherd...toguideus,guardusand protectus because He is the overseerof oursouls.
We can understandthiswhenPetersays: “For“youwere likesheep goingastray,” but now you have
returned to the Shepherd andOverseer of yoursouls.”(1Peter 2:25).
The secondof the Four Spiritual Laws: "Humanityistaintedbysinandis therefore separatedfromGod.
We can learnfrom Romans 3:23, "…for all have sinnedandfall shortof the gloryof God."Asa result,we
cannot knowGod's wonderfulplanfor eachof our lives because we are sinnersandthe bible statesthat
the final resultof siniseternal death. Butwe are blessedwithagift, inthatwe are availedthe possibility
of eternal lifeinJesus. We canlearnthisfrom Romans6:23, “For the wagesof sin isdeath, but the gift
of Godis eternal lifein ChristJesus our Lord”.In the verybeginningof the bible we canlearnthat God
createdus to have fellowshipwithHim.However, AdamandEve disobeyedGodscommandand brought
sinintothe worldand therefore separatedfromGod. Thissincontinuesdownthe ages.Inadditiondue
to thisnature,humanityalsohasbroughta multitude of sinbygoingagainstGodscommandments.This
has furtherruinedthe relationshipwithHimthatGod intendedtohave.
The third of the Four Spiritual Laws: JesusChristisGod's onlyprovision giventomankindtosave
ourselves fromoursin anditsconsequences.ItisonlythroughJesusChrist, thatwe canhave our sins
forgivenandrestore aright relationshipwithGod. Withoutreestablishingthisvitalrelationshipwith
God, we have nothing!Hiscreationwouldbe useless.Due toHislove,GodsentHisonlyson who
broughtmankindthe Goodnewsof salvationandwas the atoningsacrifice for oursin. We can learn
fromRomans 5:8,"But Goddemonstrateshis ownlove for us inthis: Whilewe were still sinners,Christ
died forus." Yes Jesusdiedtosave the sinners, butwe needtoknow believe andhave faithinJesus
Christas onessaviourinorderto be saved. We can learnfrom 1 Corinthians15:3-4, “For what I received
I passed onto you as of firstimportance: that Christdiedfor our sins accordingto the Scriptures, 4
that
he was buried, that he wasraised on the third dayaccordingto the Scriptures…"Throughthe gospels
we can learnthat JesusHimself declaresthatHe isthe onlyway of salvation."Iam the wayand the truth
and the life.Noone comestothe Father exceptthroughme."(John14:6).
The forth of the Four Spiritual Laws: We mustplace our faithinJesusChristas Saviorin order to receive
the giftof salvation.Itisonlywhenwe receive salvationthatwe can developaclose relationshipwith
God. It isby establishingthisrelationshipthatwe can come to know God's wonderful planforourlives.
Like a fatherreferstoHis offspringassonor daughter,God availedthose whobelievedin Hisson Jesus
2. Christ,to be calledchildrenof God.We can learnthisfrom John1:12, "Yet to all who did receive him,to
those who believedin hisname, he gave the right to become childrenof God—." Thismeansthat
throughour faithinJesusChrist,we become close withGod,whichinturneffectsoursinful ways.We
change…we are savedfromthe sinful life that he orshe may have read…andthat isnot justourselves
but onesentire household! We canalsolearnof the same from Acts 16:31,"They replied,“Believe in the
Lord Jesus, andyou will be saved—youandyour household.” We can alsoread in Ephesians2:8-9, “For
it is by grace you havebeen saved, throughfaith—andthisisnot from yourselves,it is the giftof
God— 9
notby works, so that noone can boast.” We can furtherunderstand thatwe are savedby grace
alone, whichissgiftof God throughfaithalone,inJesusChristalone…notbyanyothermannerismthat
one may try.
The decisiontobe savedor receive salvationisentirelyup toyou.Onesfaithandtrust inJesusChristis
essential. Therefore if youwanttotrust inJesusChristas yourSavior, say the followingwordstoGod.
Sayingthese wordswill notsave you,buttrustinginChristwill!Thisprayerissimplyawayto expressto
God your faithinHimand thankHim for providingforyoursalvation. "God,Iknow that I have sinned
against you and deserve punishment.ButJesusChrist took the punishmentthat I deserve sothat
through faith in Him I could be forgiven.I place my trust in You for salvation. Thank You for Your
wonderful grace and forgiveness - the giftof eternal life!Amen!"
