Where I'm From -7th grade project

2. I am from fun hair-bows, hats, artwork, and swings.

3. I am from the beautiful purple lilac bush that always looms
high above me no matter how much I grow.

4. I am from the thunk of Johnny Appleseed Farm’s crisp, juicy apples falling
into my bag.

5. I am from home-made cookies located conveniently in a flowered, glass cookie
jar that danced on my tongue.

6. I am from a mother who taught me how to read long
before I even went to school.

7. I am from stuffed animals galore with paws and tails
wherever I turn.

8. I am from a father who let me ride shot-gun in a red go-kart
in the cold, fluffy snow. (We got stuck countless times!)

9. I am from a yiayia and papou who go above and beyond
in caring for their one and only granddaughter.

10. I am from a considerate and loving memere, who is the
most thoughtful person in the world.

11. I am from the two-day Christmases of assembling every
present I got. (including shopping carts and toy
kitchens)

12. I am from the green and white swing-set in the
backyard that was filled with never-ending fun.

13. I am from writing my name (first and last) on laminated
paper strips in hope of getting a library card.

14. I am from playing with water using purple bowls to
tiny, plastic measuring spoons.

15. I am from blue, sparkly tutus and dance recitals where
I just didn’t want to get off stage.

16. I am from trips to feed the talkative ducks at Forest Park
(one piece for the ducks, one for piece me).

17. I am from a blue, spinning toy that I never wanted to get off
of, even after I fell off it from dizziness.

18. I am from puppet shows with home-made colorful
puppets.

19. I am from trips to the library, using luggage to collect a
colossal amount of colorful picture books.

20. I am from the family scrapbooks that always bring a
smile to my face.

21. I am from the happy moments embedded in colorful paper
and detailed ribbons.

22. I am from the great achievements acknowledged in vibrant in
and unique stamps.

23. I am from the magnificent people that we preserve in
these keepsakes and remember in our hearts.

24. I am from the priceless memories and treasured stories
of my family.
