It$is$with$great$enthusiasm$and$respect$that$I$write$this$
recommendation$on$behalf$of$Antonella$Fuchser,$who$has$been$
a$close$colleague$of$mine$for$several$years.$

Antonella$Fuchser$is$not$“just”$a$Lower$Elementary$Assistant,$
Head$soccer$and$Cross$Country$coach$at$Oak$Meadow$School;$
she$is$THE$person$that$is$always$wiling$to$do$for$others$from$
helping$to$cover$a$class,$change$the$laminator$roll$or$drive$the$
school$van.$$She$works$diligently$to$always$better$herself$and$is$
constantly$learning$from$her$colleagues$at$Oak$
Meadow.$$Antonella$wears$many$hats$at$our$school$of$students$
ranging$in$ages$from$3$to$14$years$old.$$She$meets$every$
student$where$they$are$at$developmentally$no$matter$what$
age,$and$is$intuitive$about$their$unique$and$individual$needs$
both$as$a$classroom$teacher$and$Coach.
$
In$addition$to$meeting$the$diverse$needs$of$her$students$both$
in$the$classroom$and$on$the$field,$Antonella$has$high$
expectations$of$her$students,$and$as$a$result$so$do$they$of$
themselves.
$
Antonella$Fuchser$is$a$well[respected$soccer$and$cross[country$
coach$for$5$and$2$years$respectively$at$Oak$Meadow.$$Her$
organizational$skills$ensure$that$both$programs$are$up$and$
running$smoothly.$$She$manages$practices$and$arranges$for$
travel$to$and$from$games.$$Practices$are$well$thought$out$and$
with$a$purpose.$$Antonella$is$always$well$prepared$and$a$role$
model$to$her$students.$

2. Not$only$is$Antonella$a$team$player$on$the$field,$but$also$
off.$$$As$the$Athletic$Director$and$Physical$Education$Teacher,$I$
have$had$the$privilege$of$working$closely$with$Antonella$on$a$
number$of$occasions.$$For$example,$Antonella$assisted$me$with$
Fun$Days$and$also$with$the$basketball$team.$$I$have$witnessed$
first$hand$Antonella's$ability$to$work$with$students$and$be$able$
to$create$a$safe,$inclusive$learning$environment$for$
everyone.$$$Antonella$lives$her$professional$life$finding$ways$to$
lend$a$hand$to$others$any$way$she$can.
$
In$closing,$I$feel$Antonella$would$be$a$wonderful$addition$to$the$
staff$at$Oak$Meadow$and$the$Lower$Elementary$program.$$Her$
experience$coaching$only$adds$to$her$value$as$a$classroom$
educator.$$She$is$a$proven$life$long$learner$and$proves$it$
everyday.$$$Her$creativity,$organizational$skills,$commitment$to$
following$through$on$her$promises$and$enthusiasm$for$her$
position$are$just$a$few$of$Antonella’s$qualities$that$have$
contributed$to$her$success.
